SCOTT Vernon today vowed to help Aberdeen FC smash the 50-goal target set by Mark McGhee.

 

Pittodrie gaffer McGhee revealed he is looking for his squad’s goal tally to pass the half-century mark this season.

 

McGhee is convinced that tally would be enough to push Aberdeen FC into the hunt for a European spot.

 

Summer signing Vernon said: “Scoring 50 goals is a very realistic target especially when combined through the squad.

btw I'm not saying this is a bad target to set the team but it's slightly infuriating that the AFC PR machine doesn't learn its lesson with regard to not making us look like dicks.
