mini59dons
When i lived in aberdeen i found most of the locals pretty xenophobic. No surprise to me that this sort of attitude exists toward fans not speaking raw doric Doric? People who live in Aberdeen genereally don't speak Doric! And folk wonder why we remain insular if people who have lived here don't even bother to understand the 'locals'. Incidentally I don't care where you are from as long as you pay your money at the gate. Any non-old farm supporters are most welcome as far as I am concerned. tsr
Doric is more of a shire thing.
One Bobby Clark
The Shire refers to an area settled exclusively by Hobbits and largely removed from the goings-on in the rest of Middle-earth That explains a lot.
tlg1903
It's no more or less xenophobic than the next place. An arsehole is just an arsehole regardless of geography. It really is in my experience, I've lived in aberdeen, glasgow, edinburgh and even very briefly in dundee. Aberdeen is by a country mile the unfriendliest place in scotland in my opinion. http://www.donstalk.co.uk/messageboard/index.php?topic=10616.0 ? Soz dude but dont get the reference
