Thanks to Reekie for sorting my issue. If anyone else is interested, I wanted it to return to my post when I had written it instead of going back to the menu. (I like to view my post in all its splender and glory after I have written it!)

I hate to mention AFC Chat again, but.....

 

My only gripe with this site is that basically, IMHO it's extremely ugly looking - particularly in comparison with AFC Chat (sorry  ) which is a really asthetically pleasing message board.  Any chance of an alternative skin or something?  The red and grey colour scheme looks awful.

Hmmm. I made it as plain as possible so that the site wasn't so graphically intensive, and thus more processing power from our server is dedicated to getting the site to load as fast as possible and handle the database as efficiently as possible. But I'm open to suggestion about how to change things for the better.

 

What does everyone else think of DT's current look? Is it in need of a revamp? What would you like to see instead? Any ideas on style? Are the main header graphics of the site okay? Or are they in need of a change? Don't worry about different features of the site, cos we're working on that aspect just now and expect the new content and features to be released early in the New Year. But "skin" wise, what would you like to see? First person to say "it needs to look like AFC Chat" gets booed 1000 times!

I'd like it though so as there were more responses on each page - like a/deen-mad - all their responses are on one big thread - not subdivided into pages.

 

I've just altered the default to 30 posts per page. How does this look? I don't want an entire topic to be on one page as this can be a nightmare when you have topics that have over a hundred posts in it, like the Stadium Redweb one. People with less memory in their computers will find this a nightmare to have to load over 100 messages in one go. But maybe 30 is better. What do you think?
