  • I'm very glad that I can watch the Dons most weeks and then switch off to all other football (Scotland aside). I do watch the occasional game on the telly (rarely a whole game), mainly the BBC Friday

Am I right in thinking that every single Premiership team has taken something from Pittodrie this season - except Hearts? Had they won at Pittodrie earlier in the season, they'd already be champi

If Arsenal don't score before FT then Mr Wenger needs to take a long look at his team. Not being able to score against Man City is one thing but Leeds Utd? Come on to fuck!

Did maybe think about sticking a shilling or two on Leeds too but decided against it! Tis always the way! 11/1 on Willie Hill.

Just as well you didn't then. 1-1 Fabregas penalty.

Hmmmm, I did wonder if Leeds would be able to hold out. That would be some away day if they had kept them out! Put Man U oot at the same stage last year at Old Trafford too.

Decent game from what I saw. Leeds were unlucky, though Fabregas and Walcott created so many chances in the last few mins. Walcott should have scored a couple.

1-0 to Stevenage.

:-/

Didn't Newcastle get knocked out the cup by them before? Late 90's if I remember correctly?

Think it was a draw?

To be fair, there was contact and he had his shirt pulled.

Newcastlol down to ten

Newcastle player just sent off for a fantastic tackle.

You're thinknig off the one he was given a penalty for. Definite pen.

First one they never showed a good view of.

As Newcastle continue to spit and splutter at Broadhall Way, I can bring you some more rather extraordinary post-match reaction - this time from QPR manager Neil Warnock after his side's exit at Blackburn. An absolutely livid Warnock claimed Rovers' El-Hadji Diouf taunted striker Jamie Mackie as the player lay on the ground with a broken leg: "He is calling him all sorts on the pitch. There was no need to put the finger up and call him a disgrace and even the Blackburn people were embarrassed. I can't abide people like that...I think he is the lowest of the low and I can't see him being at Blackburn much longer because I can't see Steve Kean putting up with someone like that in the dressing room." Wow.

Diouf is a scum bag. I hope Mackie has a speedy recovery. He seemed to have regained his form as well.

Warnock is an arsehole.

Spot on there though if it's true.

Stevenage 2 - 0 Newcastle U.

It's funny cause it is not us.  ;D

Deserved win.

Dodgy red card aside they were still the better team.

You've taken what he said completely out of context.

how so?

how so?

What I took it as was that he doesn't normally dive, he doesn't like it but he had to do it as it was the last minute and they were behind.

sure but it's spurious of him to suggest he's not a cheat if all he means is, I only cheat when it really matters.

bit of a tangent but interviewers are so in awe of football players they never pull them up for the hypocritical bullshit they say. No wonder the players act like they're above everyone else.
