Should there not be average per game, but only for players that have spent a minimum amount of time on the pitch?

 

And maybe a weighting system?  Points earned against those teams in the top 6 count more than those against the bottom 6.

Exactly, some ratings are more important and worthy than others.

Compare the total of season voting to our snap poll a few weeks ago on Northsounds options for player of the season where Langfield won the vote with 40%.

Does seem a bit strange Mizer I agree, but the Priory episode and two reds in quick succession probably stopped a lot of people going for Kerr (no pun intended ) myself included. Langfield has been very consistent and completely deserving of it, without naming individual matches where he has been a stand out.

Goalkeepers only really get noticed when they make mistakes, so nobody noticing how good Jamie has been until the end of the season when we look back is a good thing in my book.

Interesting to see how well Seve and Mackie have rated given the weekly, or even daily, abuse they got for most of the season.
