The lack of fitness and match sharpness is killing us throughout the squad I'm as fit as the three midfielders we started with tonight. It's a shocking mess we are in and I'm not pantpisher. You’ve more chance of getting 90 minutes out of him playing at the back than you will in midfield. Let him sit in and direct the game in front of him. No mad headless running about, just organise the others and use your positional sense. I think he can do 90 minutes back there, especially when its one game a week most of the way from here. We need to do something back there cause the current lot are just a constant disaster waiting to happen… Quote

Unlikely, but I’d even consider moving Milne to center mid where afeez was and put sivert behind him inbetween Morrison and molloy. I also think we’re at the point have try anything and we keep losing shit goals, why not give sivert a run there. He’s much more of a leader than any of the others at the back and I think that also counts for something. Quote
TheDonbytheDee Posted 6 hours ago Report Posted 6 hours ago Nilsen has started six games all season, under three different managers, one of which was the one that wanted him at the club. He had a very good sixty minutes, against Dundee, his best game in a Dons jersey, but has not started again. Must be some reason he isn't getting much game time, so not pinning my hopes on him being our saviour. I can't see any saviours in this current squad of players. Quote

I can’t see any saviours either - they either don’t care, or don’t have the minerals, or both. We’ve got to try something though, anything… Quote

I do agree about putting Nilsen into the centre of defence though. Quote

Confidence is through the floor and the constant chopping and changing line ups isn't helping. I think we just have to pick a line up and stick with it to see us through until the end of the season, keeping changes to a minimum. I though we played well against Falkirk, not great, but solid, he then pulls out the tombola for last night and I don't think it worked at all. We are probably in worse shape now after last night and the two week gap won't be a help. One league win since December says it all. 1 Quote

Disagree about the two week break not helping though, if Robinson has anything about him then two solid weeks on the training ground before our most important run of games for many a year should be exactly what he and the players need. They should take a break, maybe head somewhere warm to detox and refresh. There's some great training camps in Dubai. Quote
