Aberdeen v Dundee (Premiership)

Not a bad game to play straight after the cup win. Despite them not being on form, they are only 4 behind us. Falkirk and Hibs have tough games so perhaps a chance to gain some ground.

Shinnie was immense tonight, will he be able to start, and will It be him an afeez in the middle assuming Geiger is suspended. Defense did pretty well, Milne and McIntyre will continue in the middle, frame is improving.

expect topi from the start with Cameron, hoping to see lobban right mid but expect milanovic again. Despite our struggles, nisbet is playing well, expect another good game from him.

3-1 us, nisbet Cameron and topi.

I am all for change if that change is for the better. Have now seen more than enough of Bratveit to see is most certainly not an upgrade on Mitov. Hopefully Mitov back in between the sticks from

  • Yeah but imagine Jambos failing to win at Pittodrie yet again and losing the title? If Geiger grows a tash he could be a spit for Albert Kidd, 40 years later. Then we go pump Sevco 3-0 in the cup fina

  • Well that was pish. I hadn't seen or heard the lineup beyond the first 11, so I couldn't believe it when Milne came to the sidelines after Morrison sold the shirts. A fucking ridiculous call to play h

I'd be very surprised if Hearts still have a chance to win the title by the final day of the season.

They have what looks like a decent run of fixtures before the split, but I'm not convinced they'll win all their home games. Falkirk, Aberdeen, Motherwell. I think they'll drop points in one or two of them. You'd probably say the longest odds are on us taking points there,  as pish as we have been this season, but you can't underestimate Tynecastle being a very nervy place if it's not going their way and we could essentially have the pressure off.

Even then, I don't see them coping well with the top six. Both the Old Firm and likely an Edinburgh derby at Easter Road against a Hibs side giving everything to beat them. It's a big ask. They need to go into the split with a healthy lead and I'm not sure they'll have it.

This is exactly how I'm hoping it will pan out

In fact it's looking very likely to be rangers championship. I'd go 90% on that.

Who's going to the game today? I read ticket sales are going well. I've been roped into child / dog care up country for the weekend so I'm out but I'm hoping to be able to see it on the Red TV.

Home win guaranteed.

Me, I'll be at it.

I would never guarantee us a win,but I am confident.

No matter our form, or the opposition, I very rarely put us down for defeat.

I was told yesterday that they haven't beaten us at Pittodrie since May 2004.

Was at that game as well, with my then eight year old Son.

Ricky Foster scored his first Don's goal and Steve Lovell got their winner.

Think it will be a decent game today.

I'll give Pressley his due, he hasn't done as bad as I expected and he does try and have them playing football.

Will he going today, or did that game put him off forever?

I was also there. Of course. And will be today. Mainly so I can witness the booing of Wright while not booing Cameron.

He can't be taken seriously while he continues to wear his granny's specs and a home crocheted wooly bonnet.

They shall be destroyed.

Oh aye, “Wrighty”.
Lest we forget…..

I’m in need of strong Arabica

I'm mostly looking forward to watching Geiger. He's going to grow into being a massive player for us.

Last minute decision to head up today. Given up trying to understand the suspension rules (link if anyone is bored https://www.scottishfa.co.uk/media/1849/suspensions-for-players-in-mens-football-annex-c-section-4.pdf ) to figure out who is suspended and who is not. Club are saying Geiger is playing so will maybe get to see him today. Dundee supporting brother says they are shite and he expects us to win comfortably.

So weve decided he's eligible after all?,good if so,and maybe a run out for Afeez at some point.Hopefully we've coached the wingers how to wing better,....fancy a few goals if so

Heading in soon, looks a decent crowd(700 tickets left),though think there's an ACFCCT thing in the RDS?

Yes. My information suggests so.

That's a fantastic crowd.

Would like to see Loban instead of Milanovic, knows how to defend, track players runs, likes to get forward and puts crosses into the box...everything Milanovic can't do.

What pub?

Bit worried about our midfield for this one. Shinnie a big miss. Don't think Geiger and Armstrong would work, and not sure about Aremu yet. Nilsen and Geiger might be best. The wide players are a big concern, but unfortunately we need to play them. I think 4-4-2 would be our best option, but we can't play that with Cameron in the side. Similarly, we can't play Olusanya wide. A reluctant game for Milanovic and Keskinen basically.

If we don’t think afeez is up for it yet I’d be inclined to go with sivert and Geiger. Afeez coming on when the old man is tired. Expect a good game from Geiger too, think the cup game will be a good lesson for him and he’ll want to do well today.

Desperately want to see lobban at right mid, think he’s such a better option than milanovic.

Good Juke box.

Strong line up. Definitely scoring three today.

This is the section that deals with red cards for the Scottish cup.  Unless these rules are out of date it would seem according to this that Geiger should miss Dundee and the QF vs Dunfermline given he was given a straight red for a challenge.

I don't get how he is in the team today.

Milne and McIntyre were alright the other night, whereas Morrison has looked dodgy so far. Bold call.

According to Erin Grieve on X the rules have been updated, so Geiger misses the Dunfermline tie & a semi.

It could be a trick by the SFA to get us to field an ineligible player.

Struggle to see where the goals will come from (for us) but it has to happen some time. Let today be that day.

Lyall Cameron really is a terrific wee player.

That goalkeeper still gives me the fear every time the ball is at his feet though.
