Shite start on a Monday night with a shit ticket allocation.

My main gripe is three of our four games over the festive period being away (five if you include the league cup final), and I can't make the one home game as a mate is selfishly getting married in Glasgow, which the fixture list hasn't considered.

But, think most games after the European matches are at home. And I don't mind a tough start, get wired in early and set our stall out. Playing Hearts and Celtic will bring back great memories of Hampden last season.

I know it is partly to accommodate internationals but we really don't help ourselves in this country.  When the weather is crap we play 15 league games from December to February,  8 games in 36 days between the end of November and start of January. When it gets decent weather, we play just 9 times between March and May.  Not conducive to either pretty football nor getting supporters in through the gates. 

 

We have the fourth hardest start according to Opta.

I think you are correct it could be the 16th or 17th and kick off hasn’t been confirmed. 

Ties won't be confirmed until the end of this week because Dundee United for example may or may not be in Europe, and that might affect other scheduling etc.

Motherwell cup tie confirmed as 3pm kick off on 20th 

 

Dundee United away confirmed as 23rd September.

It’s FA Cup date in England and SKY don’t have the broadcast rights so are using us to fill their normal Sunday slots. Shite time for me limits my trains home until after 7pm plus Sunday is shit as working next day. 

Sunday fitba is bad enough, but 4:30pm kick offs can flock right off.

Did we not play these feckers at Pitodrie two years ago, around the same time and pumped them 3-1?
