  1. I actually heard the Johnny Russel link a couple of weeks back, similar to whats been said on the other Dons forums. I just took it to be nonsense, which it most likely is.

GMS in talks with NYC, cant really begrudge him that move, cracking opportunity.

  2. Going on that McGowan has liked Tweets about him signing for Hamilton, I would imagine that is his destination.

I think Dons fans looked too much into his Wiki page being altered to say he had signed for us, which can be done by anyone.

Rumours of Hayes coming back, it would only make sense if it is a permanent transfer, not another loan where he wouldn't be able to play against Celtic.

  3. Reidzer, I’m interested in A bit of land. The owner wants £500K for it but he can GTF. Fit do you think be a fair price ?

    All depends.

Location, quality of land , what you plan to build on it etc.

Send me the details and I will sort it all out for you

  4. Seen on another forum that we are entitled to pay 50% of any contract Hamilton offered plus around £10k a year for each year he was at the club, I am assuming under a professional contract.

So unless he was on a huge deal with Hamilton, again I would say £100k seems fair.

  5. Can't in all honesty see it being anything like that figure either.

It does however raise the question of how legally binding the pre-contract would be

Yeah I agree, I was just predicting worst case scenario.

We have seemingly offered them £100k which I think seems fair.

  6. If true, that ends that then. Move on.

No way will they get that, they are only entitled to what they have paid into his training thus far and I doubt that is anywhere near £500k.

It will go to a tribunal and they will get maybe £200k at most.

  7. Seems we are interested in Chris Forrester and Jack Baldwin from Peterborough.

This link actually has a quote from Barry Fry confirming our interest but he doesn't think we can afford them.

  8. A you say, it wouldn't surprise me if a couple of Championship clubs south of the border were to take an interest in McInnes this summer, especially with the manner of how we secured 2nd spot.

Obviously its a huge summer ahead, recruitment needs to be spot on for us to keep pushing for the top spaces next season. Also it would be nice to have enough quality in depth to make a real push for the Europa League Group Stages.

  9.

I'd assume this may involve some kind of swap for Tansey?

It certainly would not surprise me if Tansey was involved in some form of swap deal.

McInnes being in record as saying he need two new CM's in the window probably spells out that Tansey most likely wont be back for next season.

  10. You are right, bug summer in terms of recruitment coming up and the recruitment has to be spot on this time.

I agree to CM's needed, possibly even 3 if we are to persist in using Shinnie at CM. Cover for both LB and RB needed unless we are going to allow some of the youngsters a chance in those areas. I am really hoping that we dont persist with Considine or Reynolds at LB as neither have the pace needed for that position.

I would like to see Arnason stay, hes not starter but provides good, experienced cover at the back and hes is the type of experienced head we need behind the scenes also.

Striker is another position we need to strengthen, I imagine Rooney may move on, its clear he isnt in the first team plans whether Stevie May is fit or not

I just hope that we do get European football as I can imagine that McInnes's budget will be impacted by it.

  11. I just cant fathom why we took the foot off the pedal in the second half. We had them on the backfoot going in to half time and had we picked up where we left off then I think we would have come away with the 3 points.
