  1. We were incredible all the way through the game, didn't stop singing other to boo the team off at half time only to cheer them back onto the park. I was shouting from behind Brown at the start of the 2nd half to get Arneson into Midfield and Chalali on for Fallon so I think I should take that tactical credit ,,,, but must have been someone else who told Brown to take off Millson and put on Clark cos it wasna me Great day, great goals and gonna be a great night , well done The Dons so STAND FREEEE
  2. Just heading out on ma xmas doo and theres a free bar so setting the alarm to get me up so I remember its a lunchtime kick off tomorrow at Inverness where the Reds will massacre the Schnecks 1-0 !!! So just wanted to say an Xmas C'MON THE REDS and STAND FREEEEEEEEEE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  3. Sort of see your point, imagine being Dumfermilne going down by 1 point and the Blue noses winning the league by 1 point after their 2-1 win and Penalty conversion that never was There is always going to be a scenario of what if's .... but my point was really that it is the commentators looking for talking points especially on tv that highlight the matter when the opposition weren't really making that big a deal of the penalty other than disappointment
  4. I know we don't want to keep hearing about Pawlett and his looming 2 game ban for "Simulation" but just wondered why there are never any commentators on the English Premiership not calling for the same punishment for the so called Superstars who actually get booked for it during a game by the ref. ( Van Persie tonight against Villa was booked for diving amd Moses for Wigan , although he blatantly dived and didn't get a booking ) It only seems to be where the ref doesn't blow up for it in a game where the player ends up with a 2 game ban , but if the same thing happens in a game and the ref books a player that is his only punishment for doing exactly the same thing , a yellow card with no ban, so the moral of the story is your better off cheating and getting a yellow card than the cameras picking you up after a game and the opposition teams/commentators calling for a ban for one of your players.
  5. What nobody has mentioned, and as much as I'm new to commenting on Donstalk I've been following it for years, go to the majoruity of the games, so I'm just gonna say what I think ,,, is that it wasn't the Ref who decided Red , it was the Linesman who was standing 5 yards from the non contact tackle !!!!! You can see Callum Murray not going for his card, speaking to the Linesman and then mouthing the word " Red " before he took a card out , so it was the Linesman who confirmed it was getting later in the game and they might not get a better chance to send a player in Red off ... perfect Hun with a Whistle teamwork
  6. Should we not by now be using the word " Conspirecy " Or is that already Copyrighted by the Old Firm
  7. I really think Fyvie has lost something since his return from injury and to play him on the wing is just making him look like a lost wee sheep , pardon the pun ..... Means that we don't have any out balls to the corners for someone to chase and the ball is just going to keep coming back at us as it's not like he is made for defending either .... so much potential has been dragged back down to the quality of being an average Aberdeen player and if it's just to fit him into the team somewhere then it's the fans who lose out and I personally have lost a bit of faith in Craig Browns tactical genius As much as he has an awful lot to learn, I would say against the lesser teams Josh would be a better outlet as he is stronger in the air and has a bit of go about him ,,, just needs a better final outcome when the ball leaves his feet
  8. Aberdeen winger Peter Pawlett is set to be handed a two-game suspension by the Scottish Football Association's compliance officer today for diving to win a penalty against Hibernian. (the Sun) Surely O'Connor's 2 attempts at blatant diving in the game is just as bad , but for us to actually get the decision in the box does not make any attempts to con the ref any worse. No matter where on the pitch it happens it's still blatant cheating and any ban for Pawlett could potentially open up a huge can of worms for the SFA. O'Connor was actually booked for simulation so the ref obviously thought he tried to cheat .....
  9. Just wan't to point out I'm not having a go at the players here but does anyone else not think that we are a wasted force going forward playing Fraser Fyvie on the right mid/wing. Does not help the players confidence either in my mind. If anywhere he needs to be attacking behind the front 2, especially at home as we should be attacking and trying to win all games at Pittodrie and to play someone who can't run past a full back on the wing is just a waste of a position and plays into the oppositions hand. Peter Pawlett is the player for that position but needs regular games games to show what he can do and prove the potential he has is not another wasted talent , not coming on as a sub with 15mins to go. Pawlett and Jack down the right would work Been thinking this for a long time now and cannot believe Craig Brown persists with these tactics as they obviously do not work.
  10. What's the bets the SFA feel they have to nulify the Red Card but Ban Pawlett for a couple of games so the Blue Noses don't jump on the bandwagon and throw their Hun Dummy's out their prams over Aluko's "Faster than a Russian Sub" dive and the new "Conspirecies" against them
