Clever. Extended it just now while they can get it for pennies.

No doubt once the ugly sisters derby is back from next year the price commanded would have been more.

The difference was that Jack got targeted and marked out of the game. Celtic's tactics were good. They knew he could make things happen. We know that he's not good enough to play at the highest level and he hits his ceiling against better teams. But at least he's trying. If, and there were signs that McGinn was trying v. Celtic last year but to zero effect (again) McGinn gets posted missing, that would be unforgivable. He's never been a consistent performer and that's why I don't like him. Fergie wouldn't have put up with someone like him, a temperamental talent. He demanded all from them all all of the time. It's McInnes' job to get the most of them. With McGinn, he hasn't. Undoubtedly the potential to be our best player, he's not delivered anywhere near his max although encouraging signs this season from him, eventually.

Unfortunately that temperamental talent is the only reason McGinn is playing for Aberdeen, and not on a bigger stage. If he played to his potential every single week, i'm afraid he would have been offski by now.

Although a win tonight gives Minks extra games it also means they will get a shed load of money (€14m just for getting to group stage) to strengthen an already strong squad.

If they lose they would drop into Europa and have extra games anyway.

Nobody I think would get into the first team, but I wouldn't mind Zaluska and Eremenko to fill the squad.

Sounds like i'm in the minority here but I can't say I thought we deserved the 3 points. Delighted that we managed to snatch it at the end but i'd be pretty pissed off if I was a United fan 

I thought we were great up until the final third but then lacked any real threat. The only clear cut chance I can remember in the whole game was when that Bilate boy was clean through but hit it straight at Ward.

I fucking love Andy Considine though! He's gonna have a superb season I think.

Personally, I don't think we can get as close to Celtic as last. They won't start as shite as they did last year, that wank Delia has his own team now and we have our bogey team Hearts back in the league.

I'd like to see us establish ourselves ahead of the pack in the second again, but with 2 cup final appearances also.

As they were saying on the radio earlier, if we have any aspirations of challenging this season then we need to be taking care of a match like this. No travelling excuses, just fucking do it.
