  1. It's good.

It's not as 'immense' as a lot of folk seem to subscribe too. It's not total shite though.

With all the decent shows that are available just now, I find it very hard to justify spending time on it tbh.

  2. All my cars have been shite compared to my Honda Civic Type R (2nd Gen). What a fucking car.

Ended up having 2 of them coz I was a stupid bastard and wrote the first one off after 3 years. It's such a fun drive though you cannot just go from A to B without thinking your Nigel Mansell.

The recent Audi TT was actually pretty good too, but just not worth it for all the hairdresser pish you get.

  3. Tokyo was better than Osaka for me.  Shinjuku sums up the bizarre aspect of tokyo.  There's around 500 bars in a very small area and they are all the size of a small kitchen.  I couldn't even fit in to some of them.  The people we met there were all really friendly and wanted to help us out with where else to go.  The Japanese in Tokyo love a drink and smoke after work and I've never seen so many pished folk in suits.

Robot restaurant is in shinjuku and couldn't recommend it enough.  It's a tourist trap to be fair but it's like nothing you'll ever experience.  The food isn't great but you don't go for the food...if that makes sense?

I echo this. Tokyo has so much going on and Shinjuku in particular.

What will appear like a relatively lonely street/lane with high rise buildings in it will have these buzzing bars and food places hidden away in a multi-storey. We would walk into what seemed like a quiet building that had a beer sign outside it and the place erupted inside. Everywhere is mobbed! If you are over 5 foot 8 though its pretty easy to get server at the bar

Robot Restaurant is worth a visit - but its not a restaurant so eat before you go there. Grab a few beers and sit back and watch the stereotypical Japanese carnage that is about to unfold.

Kyoto is completely different and very tranquil. I'm assuming you have got all your accom booked up already so hopefully you are staying in a ryokan while you are there. A superb experience where you are treated like a king. The Japanese are superb with the hospitality.

  4. Aye, you're right. It fucks up RedZone when you are just looking out for specific players to score.

The fuck is going on with the Ravens backfield? Forsett was out, then in, then out. Is this Dixon boy any good? I picked him up on waivers but West seems to be doing the trick.

  5. Giants fan here. Got excited by the 2-0 start but back down to earth now.

My Sunday nights are now taken over by RedZone and monitoring the fantasy football scores. Fucking awesome fantasy setup they have compared to the soccer version.

  6. Rogers is a great QB. He seems to be able to extend plays at will. Still cannot believe 49ers chose to draft Alex Smith instead of him.

9ers season is going almost exactly as predicted with them not even being able to stink for first pick correctly. Trip to Levi however was brilliant despite the defeat last week.

How is your fantasy team getting on?
