  1. langfield was only at fault for one of the goals in the semi, the 3rd one when he slipped on the way out for the ball. Severin's backpass put him in seven colours of shite for the 4th and the defending was abysmal for the first two, free headers inside the box, I would be blaming the defence for that.

  2. and who was at the heart of the defence for those two debacles.

At least we got to the semi's, yes it was a crushing disappointment to lose to QotS but we were there to lose it. I don't think that people would be complaining so much about our "dismal" cup runs if we'd gone out to Celtic in the replay at Parkhead.

  3. You were greeting about how bad a season we had last year and how much we shipped goals but at the heart of the defence for most of the season were Considine and Diamond, both products of the youth system. So going by your logic it's understandable how many goals we lost, that we only got to two semi-finals, finished 4th and got to the last 32 of the UEFA cup.

  4. Fuck loan signings waste of time,

Lets get some young players in the team - theres no chance of finishing bottom lets get a team full of youngstars then build round the future of the team.

Aye and you'd be the first one calling for Jimmy's head if he puts out a bunch of kids and we finish in the bottom 6.

  5. 6 Portugal                      42.749

Portugal are 6th just now and thats a link to all the qualifiers

  6. Nah its not more places going to the big countries, the country in 6th at the moment gets 3 CL places so its just about Scottish clubs continuing to do well in Europe to get the coefficient high enough to get 6 European places be it top 8 for 2 cl and 4 uefa of top 6 for 3 cl and 3 uefa. Hopefully Motherwell at least get through to the Uefa groups and the Huns and Tims do not too badly in the CL.

  7. Yeah but if we did get a CL spot it would be a qualifying spot and in all honesty we'd probably get rogered out in the qualifying like Hearts did so lets not get ahead of ourselves. It wouldn't so much be a CL qualifying spot that would be of benefit, more the opportunity of regular European football, like i say even if we sneak into the top 8 on the Euro Coeffiecients, there will be 6 euro places, 2 for the CL and 4 UEFA cup, if the SFA stick to their guns and say only the Cup winners get in then that would mean if one of the scum win the Cup and they finish 1 and 2 in the SPL then basically the Top 6 get into Europe.

I would love to the stooshie that would create if you had 7th finishing with more points than 6th and 6th playing in Europe.

  8. Don't know if any of you have ever visited that Dutch site with all the Uefa Coefficient details but was just having a quick look on there and Scottish clubs performances in the last two seasons are the 6th best in Europe behind England, Spain, Germany, Italy and Russia. Granted this coincides with the Huns reaching the UEFA cup final and us doing not too badly but you also have to throw in the dismal performances of Gretna and Dunfermline into that.

6th best in Europe would give us 3 CL places and 3 UEFA places while even sneaking into the Top 8 would give us 2 CL's and 4 UEFA's. Don't know how this would change with the scrapping of the Intertoto and the revamp of UEFA qualifying but if we manage to keep up the standard 3 CL places certainly sounds appealing.

  9. I really dont see what all the fuss is about, over the course of the season they will have to play the same number of games as Celtic against the same opposition, if they manage to get more points than them they will probably win the league. Moaning faced cunts!!!!

  10. There are quite a lot of Season Ticket holders that sit in the RDU though and if they wanted to sit in another area of the ground then they would choose to do so. I'll be buying my ST for the upper Dick as it's where I want to sit, I think others should be allowed the same courtesy.

I'm sure I remember a couple of CIS Cup 2nd or 3rd round matches against lower league teams where the South Stand has been closed, maybe I'm speaking shite though.
