  1. I dinnae think a singing section would work - it'd just end in in-fighting when some folk decided they cannae be arsed singing when we're getting pumped 3-0...

also, with things like this, I think there'd be fierce competition to get into the section "cause it's the place with the singing and best aptmosphere" but you'd inevitably get folk who go who wouldn't make the effort once inside.

Better merchandise with more DVD's - these can be knocked up super-cheap these days - no need to go to Aberdeen Video Conferencing just to get ripped off through force of habit.

Some t-shirts for the fans that like that sort of thing... you only need to look at the supporters club and fan-made t-shirts in Munchen to see there's a market.  I heard the club shop doesn't even sell kits for kids under 5 - what the F*CK?!?!?

Definately Cheaper admission prices... demand for english prem games went sky high, therefore ticket prices did too - supply and demand - there is not much demand in Scotland now, so why do they keep increasing ticket prices?!?  Even a bigger sway in prices between the varying games would be good - tenner for Gretna, £22 for Rangers - supply and demand.

Catering is also overpriced and totally shit.

    Free tickets to school kids.

Sell tickets at bridge street shop - it's all computerised surely?!?

Some more fan events organised by the club - outwith the AGM.  Something in the dick donald with a few players, some entertainment, and a bevvy.  We can be trusted you know.

and for the good of me (nae the club)...

    A roof over section Y.

Hardcore Techno music as the team come out.

And lastly, I think a fans rep on the board would be a good idea  ::)

They do my ween loons got one its just nae official there's nae sponsor and nae nike badge other than that its nae bad there's a club badge and it's got a wee white collar.

Also widnae trust the computer system for tickets my mate bought his Caley and hearts tickets at the same time because he was offshore at the time of the hearts game, when he phoned for his munich ticket he was told they "couldn't see" his hearts ticket and he would have to bring his stub to the ticket office when he collected his bayern ticket (he'd given it to mate as he was away). Thankfully it apperared on the gadgies screen and he got it sent out ot him, but he was worried and piss off for a few minutes.

  2. I wouldn' be so hasty.

I'm not up for this game at all. Mainly because my 'up for it' currency has been spent over Christmas and beyond with inept performance after inept performance.

However, I have no doubt in my mind we will see a different Aberdeen on Thursday, that almost fucking irritates me more than the laissez faire attitude on Tuesday last week.

    Hold that bet  :P

Aye I'm making my way up for this game and have yet to see Aberdeen lose "live" since moving away fae Aiberdeen. Then again if the planes trains and automobiles da go to plan I may not make it and we'll lose anyway.

However I may now have jinxed my odd run...

  3. Surprised Shrewsbury's ground isn't in that list, that really was like going back in time pissing up against a stone wall, aye, it was the actual bogs.

Have to agree with the City Ground as well. It is a proper ground you can feel the history of the place walking round it. Even said to my mate it has the same feeling as Pittodrie has when you go in. Love how the main stand exit is the end to a street of terraced houses.

  4. After my unfailing optimism yesterday here's more... I reckon Nicholson will stay he may think the grass is greener, but he's smart enough to realise it's nae. As for the other two and especially Clark (Aberdeen lad never left the area for any length of time) Plymouth is a fuck of a long way to go and the South West is incredibly insular.

    However,

If he does fuck off then, as has been said before, WHAT EXACTLY have we lost:

Clark - what position is it that he actually plays? What is the point in him? Does he add anything to the team?

Hart - A right back! The easiest position on the park nowadays, how often does he come up against a top class left midfileder? The guffies can't find one and they are the greatest footballing nation on Earth  ;).

Nicholson - Don't get me wrong he's been good this season, but what is that compared too, Seve, Clark? Touzani outshone him in Madrid and hasn't held down a regular place since!

Get Zander signed up and I'm with the majority on here. We won't miss them as long as Jimmy gets working on QUALITY replacements to freshen up the squad. Then again there may be a big shock for us all as Jimmy promotes some youth teamers.

                                                                                                      :lolabove: :lolabove: :lolabove: :lolabove:

  5. Ho Ho Ho Ho! Merry CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY

    YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY

    YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY

    AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

    AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

    SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

    !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  6. Correct. Is definitely not gay. I can confirm half of the rumour though, because he lives not far from me. I like Chris Clark, and I've always defended him when people criticise the lad. I've always thought he's a good player.

So he's knocking off someone else's wife then.

  7. Didn't Robo say he lived doon the road fae Chris Clarke, if thats nae yer source min make sure you kick yer ball into his garden the night.

If Seve, Hart, and Lovell are off surely we should be offering the increases offered to them to Nicholson.

  8. Eh? Where did I say they were the same type of player? Shearer you've said is a bona fide hero, but Windass isn't? I never claimed he was a "great" either but lets face it he's done more since leaving, than any other of our players, over the last fifteen years, did in their entire career. I'm sure he was a hero at Hull, Bradford, Oxford, and Boro so to say he's not a hero to anyone outwith this club is also a bit wide of the mark.

  9. Duncan Shearer, Hans Gillhaus, Jim Bett, Charlie Nick are not cult heroes. They're just heroes.

A cult hero would be more someone who wasn't really recognised as a hero outwith those who followed the club. Lee Richardson and Doug Rougvie are good shouts, though.

I did kinda think that after I jumped in but then surely neither is Deano or Shearer?

  10. yes because john barnes was fantastic wasn't he?

You’ve got to hold and give

But do it at the right time

You can be slow or fast

But you must get to the line

They’ll always hit you and hurt you

    Defend and attack

Theres only one way to beat them

    Get round the back

    Catch me if you can

    Cos’ I’m the England man

    And what you’re looking at

    Is the master plan

    We ain’t no hooligans

    This ain’t a football song

    Three lions on my chest

I know we can’t go wrong

Magic almost as good as that one Robbie Williams did recently.

Seriously though, how did he get on in that dancing program coz everyone knows black people can dance as well.

  11. Offers the most in an uncompetitive market within that area.  Thats the point. Its all for the benefit of Stewart Milne Ltd. NOT AFC. Nothing he's done has been for the future benefit of AFC. A man who cares so much for AFC, he built our mortal enemies state of the art training ground whilst our first team players train at the beach and public parks. Funny how lots of Milne homes have sprung up on protected green belt site around the city (and Scotland for tht matter) tho...I believe he has a large supply of brown envelopes that get disributed to whichever individual who thinks is short of a bob or two.

Watch oot AFC will be phoning up to have you banned from this site. Then again, they'd have to prove it's not true for it to be libelous.
