Been an ok game, I thought it was handball. Had to laugh at Glenda Hoddle saying van der Vaart shouldn't have been booked for the challenge he got the yellow for... most cast iron yellow card ever. Good to see he let his bias go!
Although the guy's a good ball winner, how ponderous on the ball is Scott Parker? he slows Spurs down so much when he gets it, and for a team who like to break at speed that really isn't a good thing.
Initially I didn't think it was hand ball but after seeing it again I would concede that it was. Lucky to stay on the park really as he committed 3 bookable offences.
Still funny seeing Arsene squirm.

Eh??? Whoever thinks that Fallon is going to be the answer to all our goalscoring problems is in the same bananaboat as those who are glad that Mackie is still at Aberdeen after 12 years.
Fallon's looked good IMO my opinion. Always a threat in the air. I've got no doubt he'll get goals for us.

On current form I was very surprised at the size of the crowd.
This.

Wonder what triggered the performance?
Kari Arnason's comments perhaps?
This is what I suspect is the case.
And cheers for that, Penfold. I'll give that a try.

Onybody ken if there's an iPad compatible version of football highlights from BBC?

"I love the Club & The City"
Sma insulted.
Sma obvious that you're fae Bridge of Don.

Apparently MOTM tonight.
He played well but I'd say there are others ahead of him for MOTM. Fraser Fyvie for me. What a pLayer.

I could have sworn Mawene scored the second?
I struggle to remember seeing Aberdeen play as well as that before... ever!
It could have been 10 and that's no exaggeration.
Play like that every week and I swear we'd win the league.

I doubt he mixes with the riff raff in Asda, he probably shops in Tesco or Sainsburys.
I've seen Ricky Foster in Asda twice. Both times with his Mum.
Boy am I glad he's our captain!

Broon can count on my support tonight. I will never boo a Dons player whilst he wears the red and white.
If I see him in Asda however he's fair game.

You do realise the last train leaves Aberdeen when the game will most likely be still being played - right? Just making sure.
You do realise he's nae going to the Aberdeen game? Just making sure.

Did you have any problem with the insults he delivered to people of the NE and also to AFC fans?
Do you agree that we had unrealistic expectations?
Was he right to say that we weren't "hard enough"?
Is the fact that we all have two cars on our driveways the reason we don't produce good footballers?
His blaming of everyone bar himself, was this good management in your book?
Were you proud of AFC under him?
His obesity is merely a symptom of his lack of self discipline.
Dedication to the truth is one of the four cornerstones of self discipline. His perception of truth is not real now as it wasn't then.
I was born in the North-East and I've lived in the North-East for most of my life so I'd say I qualify as a local and yet for some reason I wasn't remotely offended that the comments you're talking about. Firstly because he was possibly speaking about one or two individuals and not everyone from the North-East and secondly because I tend to not believe anything I hear, see or read in the media.
I'm not sure what the context of him saying we had unrealistc expectations was to be honest but again I'd find it really hard to even pretend that it offended me in any way.
Anyway it's the glory hunting Weegie fakers that are the problem.
I only have one car. Must work harder.

Not with you.

I was in the ticket office yesterday (and coincidently saw Clark leaving but that's neither here nor there) and I asked what the ticket sales were like. The lassie burst out laughing.
Then she went on and on how it was a bit slow probably caused by the East Fife result. For some reason I felt pity towards her. She seemed really lonely and I don't think she wanted me to leave. But then I did.
The club is rotten from the very top to the very bottom.
-
You didn't want the fat cunt sacked? You found his reign acceptable? You found him acceptable? Jesus Christ. We have the club you deserve.
Your hatred is so OTT the top! Were you the one he was scrapping with on Union Street that night? Did he lay you out and you've struggled to come to terms with it?
Whilst Jimmy was no Fergie he's easily the best appointment we've made for the last 15 years. Aye he got some poor results but a lot of good ones. How someone can hate him so vociferously is beyond me.
Maybe I hinna read the right books to understand.

I was at the League Cup final albeit a youngster.
European runs are better for the club financially anyway, preferring a trophy over "a jolly" is selfish.
The league cup semi final that year was better anyway.
My Ma told the school that I had a dentist appintment to get me out of school early that day.
-
Ditto. He deserved at least that.
So are we saying sacking Jimmy was the one thing Milne has got right during his time in charge?
Sacking him would only have been right if the next man did a better job.
-
I would have liked him to have been allowed to keep the squad together after we had our European jaunt.
-
I'm sure there's plenty of public transport from Dundee and Edinburgh that would get you up the road in plenty of time.
-
I like Jimmy's suit.
And his face is definitely less orange than it used to be!
-
Well that's a bit of a non-story. At least it got that shitty Northern Irish team's name in the papers.
Even if Tevez did say no to warming up and not going on he's still fucked. You fucking do what you're fucking told by your fucking manager. If you think you've warmed up enough tough fucking shit. Go and warm up again.
If this had happened at Man Utd (which it wouldn't have) Tevez would have been sacked by now.

Get your arses oot of yer pits earlier and stop moaning.
Dunfermline highlights are up!

It was the build-up that was so good and the finish matched.
As I said at the time if Man Utd had scored that goal there would have been a collective hard-on from the Sky Sports pundits and comentators.
