  1. Hopefully at least it means less likely that a striker will be playing in the wide areas. That does my box in at times. No point in a player playing out wide if he can't cross. Joe Miller springs to mind...good player but for me he wasn't a proper winger.
  2. Definitely. He showed a few nice touches and a couple of decent runs with the ball against Killie. I prefer to see him in the middle of pitch where he has more oppertunity to fire off a shot. I think thats his best skill. But I reckon he'll be used as a winger mostly.
  3. We need to at least get to the semi in the Cup then we can have a wee look at the draw. See whats what then. Depends on what the old firm do in the quarters and whether they end up against each other in the semi or not. I suspect it will be warm ball cold ball draw as per.
  4. Lee Miller would appear to be one of the few undropables in the team. He was mince at the start of the season, then scored afew in a row, now back to mince. I don't see why Tommy Wright can't come onto the pitch for the last 20, 30 minutes if Miller ain't doing it. What Ive seen of Wright, he doesn't look all that great, but he needs to get a chance, we did pay money for him (albiet not a lot) He is clearly the back up man for Miller. OAP Brewster used to keep Miller out the team. And he did a good job at it.
  5. Smith deserves a chance to prove his fitness between now and the end of season. He is good enough to play for Aberdeen. Not many players better than him we could afford. He can score some great goals. If he gets back in the team and amoung the goals, why not offer him a 6 month or 1 year extension. If you negociate down on terms a bit, cuz of the injury proneness even better.
