  1. Aye that was Paterson, and as FJ correctly says, the other way a reversal of the 2-3 result, as Bellamy had a stormer, Pasquinelli scored both our goals?

The 3-2 loss at parkhead when we were 2-0 was when mackie and zander scored.

Bellamy was in Harts backpocket all game, his goal came from volley from a corner though. We should have won that day!

  2. I loved Dodds as a kid, thought he was great. By the time he left i was happy to see the back of him, cause id seen as play dunfermline just before and he did nothing, and looked really slow. I thought winters would be amazing, but i mind the week after he left he scored a hat trick for utd and realized the problem wasnt dodds, it was our jackass of a manager.

He showed his real class at utd.

I was totally gutted when he signed for "them". Even though he wasnt an aberdeen player I felt betrayed that one of my heroes signed for rangers.

  3. Would love to see Ricksen getting a beating  ;D

Im going to go for an Alternative Ex-Aberdeen player - Rachid Belabed, as he gave that journalism who was "an enemy of Islam" a good beating.

I also seem to mind Belabed having to get dragged off the hartlepool mascot a few years back as he was just about to kick fuck out of it.

Bisconti always seemed pretty tough, so if be happy to see him beat up any hun.

  4. i have no doubt if we signed cowie he would easily be calderwoods best signing.

if seve left and cowie came in i would see that as a marked improvement in our squad

I canny agree with that. He is a decent player but canny see him being as good as Lee Miller. Dont think he would be better than Seve has been either.

  5. For whoever asked, Miller swapped shirts with McCulloch at the end. Seemed a bit strange.

I think Langfield wil be fine, he was out on Saturday night and just had bruising and a few stitches in his lip.

Maybe McCulloch is secretly a huge dons fan and wants a strip from our best player?

  6. Jesus, you guys have let this arse turn this into an argument between donstalkers.

Back on topic. Aberdeenbasedtim, you are so deluded and wrong its incredible. We dont need the OF. They are a scurge on society and football. The world would be a much better place if both institutions were to just vanish. The OF actually need us more than we need you. What happened when the non oldfirm SPL team quit the league, the OF realised this. We dont need the OF, if the OF left then we would still have a league system with 40 teams involved, and more opportunities to get into europe. England will never let the OF in, so without us the OF would be totally screwed.

  7. Yeah, ive been to carfin and its in scotland, not ireland. Most of family originally came from ireland, and going to a catholic school, loads of folk supported Celtic there. But that doesnt mean I had to. I have a brain and decided not to follow the crowd and support a team whose fans consistently sing about the IRA (something you have conveniently ignored so far).

Face it, Celtic has a large amount of scummy fans. Sectarianism is like sex, IT TAKES 2 BABY!!!

  8. Hmm, seems to be a lot of this flying about this now.

I can't see how he wants a fresh challenge when he hasn't won anything.

Agreed. He left Dunfermline before he had won anything. I think he is doing a great job but unless he wins us something then it will be a chance missed by him if he leaves too early, cause he has a great chance to win something with us.

  9.

No matter how drunk the Celtic fans were, there would be no way my kids would have been subjected to such obscenities if we had been in the Celtic section – this is why Celtic fans are welcome anywhere in Europe and have won awards for their behaviour and sportsmanship

P.S. This is what annoys me about Celtic fans the most, this self awarded great fan reputation. All we hear about Celtic fans is how amazing they are. Are these the same Celtic fans who subjected a DUP politician to sectarian abuse on a ferry back to Belfast? Are these the same Celtic fans who had a part of parkhead named the jungle, because of their reputation of behaving like animals? The same fans who caused a plane to be diverted after the Celta Vigo game because they were acting violently on a plane?

I can think of many areas in europe where Celtic fans are not welcome, I suggest you walk down the Shankhill in a Celtic top to prove my point.

  10. If folk were using the fenian word then that is wrong. Aberdeen fans have always deplored "hello hello" for sectarian reasons, so would be hyprocritical to defend this. However, unless you enjoy hearing songs celebrating  paramilitary organisations, then the Cetic end will be much much worse.

Also, I dont see the "fuck off back to Ireland" thing as being that bad. Celtic are supposedly a Scottish team, playing in a Scottish league. However, their fans seem oblivious to this, waving Irish Flags, singing about the IRA and the management of the club seem happy to encourage certain players to turn their backs on Scotland and play for Ireland instead, so any resentment of Ireland shown by the Aberdeen fans can perhaps be understood.

  11. I can confirm that the celtic team were getting liberal amounts of very vocal dog's abuse.  We pointed out they were cheats and their parentage was questionable.  It was quite noisy close to the pitch in the South Stand.  They couldnt fail to here what we thought of them.

  12. I left my computer after i had thought i had posted it and came back half an hour later and is said it hadnt posted, so i posted it again which is why i posted it twice.

It was Mancini, against Parma who were my side when i watched football italia. Parma hadnt been beaten at home in about 2 years before this game and got a bit of a doing. Couldnt believe how skillfull it was at the time, i think he was actually running away from the goal when he did it.

  13. East Fife were a great side back in the day, my old man keeps telling me. Not really surprised our head to head is that close.

However, we should easily beat them nowadays. The lad McDonald that plays for them grew up in the same street as me and is the nephew of Arab Malpas, so give him plenty abuse!

  14. Ive just moved to belfast and am wanting to know if there are any other dandies over here? I know there used to be a Northern Ireland supporters club but AFC have told me the club no longer exists. If any other dons fans fancy meeting up to watch some games then could they PM me?

  15. Zdrillic (Fairy)

fair enough he didnt have a great season, but our whole team was shocking that season. I reckon he could have been decent for us, would have been interesting to see how he would have done if he had stayed for another season with JC in charge. Even still, what he did that night was immense, the look on the faces of the tims after he scored was something ill not forget and helped make up for an awful season.
