  1. He used to play for Tyrone U21's with one of my mates Really good guy by all accounts and really nice when i met him at mcdiarmid park. Thank god he gave it up the gaa cause a) tyrone are shite now and he wouldnt win anything with them b) he is doing the business for us big time. You should definately get that along, sure he would love it. Next time im over i might try and get my hands on one of their tops!

  2. 2002 Hyundai Accent GS... Rust bucket with an engine...

Gotta 2002 Accent too. Its a piece of shit but has once again just passed its MOT so ill be putting off getting a new car for another year then!

  3. I drive a Hyundai Accent, but its a disgrace. The headgasket needs replaced, hence its leaking pissing water like a baby and I have to fill it up constantly. The clutch is also starting to squeak badly, think im going to have to get something new soon.

  4. You should all be happy with your politicians. The ones here have made all the nightclubs close at 3 instead of 3, and the one that has refused to close before 3 now has police at the bar to make sure no-one can buy alcohol after 1am  :hammer:

They also think the partitian of scotland is a good idea and have recently accused the scottish government of discriminating against northern irish protestant university students. They really make the tories look like a great choice ???

  6. Goram was over in Antrim last month for a night of "cultural singing and entertainment". One of my workmates was there and told him he worked with me, a dandy. He wasnt too complimentry about us, not surprised but proves he is a cock.

All this pretending about not being a bigot, or not knowing who the loyalist terrorists is bullshit. He was a good keeper but Jim Leighton is miles above him in terms of not being a cock.

  7. I agree with one of the earlier posts, the boys in the lifeboats and firebrigade especially deserve something similar. I do have a fair amount of respect for the boys in the army, its not something i would ever want to do, however i do feel that the praise for them has gotten way out of perspective.

I work with pretty dangerous chemicals so people can have a better life expectancy. Many chemists in the UK do the same, occasionally there will be a death. One of the boys in my lab lost an eye in an accident. Why doesnt the sun do a "support our organic chemists" campaign? Many other jobs carry the same risks but no-one expects any praise the same way the army expects it.

Its scary reading the sun at work cause they put the soldiers up pedestals that may be too high for them. At least in Scotland folk can have a wee debate about it. Over here 50% of folk think the army are scum, the other 50% think they are the greatest thing ever.

The chances are more and more 'terrorists' will be being recruited. I'd also like to ask Wanderingdon if he has asked the person on the Bagdhad street who wonders if they are going to get blown up nipping down to the market whether they feel safer now than they did under Saddam Hussein's regime?

I worked with some iraqis in my last job and although the country was pretty dodgy for a while, on the whole they think its been worth the trouble to get rid of saddam.

  8. Anywhere on Ashton lane, could have been the loft, nude, or a few others. I saw Neil the C*** Lennon in Jinty's last week. What a ginger Tim wank he is. Viper/Buff or even ABC are much better than Gayrage, remember that for next season

Was in the Viper last night....was awesome as usual!

  9. I voted yes, just because its a total nightmare getting away from pittodrie, especially when you have a 2 hour + drive home anyway. tbh, it doesnt bother me where they put it cause it wont affect my decision to go and see them play anyway.

Also, im not that clued up on aberdeen as a city, but why would the crossrail help? I dont really know what the aberdeen crossrail would do, but it seemed like the main line between aberdeen and dundee isnt all that far from the stadium site. Why dont they just build a station in cove and we can all walk from there?

  10. I felt sorry for considine cause i felt he was unlucky for the own goal. The other 2 goals he was at fault for but he wasnt the only poor player.

Having said that, I always feel a bit more nervous when he is at the back. His only decent period was when Anderson held his hand for half a season. Apart from that he has never been consistently good. Maybe some centre halds mature later, pressley and weir being good examples of that, but him progressing more.

When is his contract up? Perhaps we should try and offload him for a few pennies in the summer.

As funster says, we havnt replaced Anderson, and it should be our main priority this summer.

  11. I think I would have probably have taken a draw today pre-match, especially as utd and hibs had both drawn. add in that considine got red carded and we played shite then its got to be a great result. However, its a worry that in such a big match that we played shite. We should have been right up for this and should have been pushing for a win, not hanging on at the end. 3rd place has definately gone now, and I fancy utd will probably take some points off the OF, so although I think we will get top 6, we will be struggling for europe I think.
