  1. Can't seem to paste it but according to McInnes on the website, apart from taking in a goalkeeper, that's nearly it. Agreed that we could really do with a full-back particularly a left sided one. Hopefully, we can bring someone else in plus a few youngsters stepping up.

  2. Went to see Man of Steel last night. Thought it was a really good film and thoroughly enjoyed it. The missus wasn't that keen on it though.

  3. Figured this would be as good a place as any to post the rumours.

Dons looking at a loan deal for Goodwillie although facing competion from Hearts, Dundee United and Championships clubs.

McInnes competing with Motherwell to sign Hun Gregg Wylde. I'd be lying if I said I knew if he was a good player or not.

Even being linked with Goodwillie is an encouraging sign. A bit of ambition from AFC for a change. No doubt there will be plenty of offers, much better than AFC's so doubt that we will actually get him though.

  4. Hangover - very average. Hangover 2 - shite. Hangover 3 - will probably be absolutely shite but I'm no going to watch it.

Next film I'm looking forward to is Man of Steel.

  5. A boy from work was questioning as to why get rid of Rae and bring in Robson? I would take Robson over Rae any day of the week. That's no dig at Rae who I thought did well at AFC, just my opinion that Robson is the better footballer of the two. I've not seen him really since he left Celtic but it seems he's still going well. Could be a very good addition to the side.

  6. I thought that a few years ago. I thought they would be up then down. He has kept them not only in the EPL but mid table. And in an FA cup final. Not bad with a shit team.

For a team that is only behind Man City and Chelsea in the spending table, aye they should be doing/have done better. He has taken them as far as he can and he has now left before he the bullet. Leaves with his head high and his stock. Now Stoke can maybe take a different route with a different style of play and Pulis can look for a job with his reputation intact. Good move for both parties IMO. A lot of fighting behind the scenes I think.

  7. I hear that McInnes is deeply unimpressed by AFC - the setup, the players he's left with and the vision for the future. I get the feeling that if he could, almost all of the senior squad bar the obvious ones - Anderson and McGinn basically - would be moved on. He's a big job in the summer, but at least it sounds as though he realises this and wants to get on with it.

Aye, certainly sounds like by what he has said after the game today. Sounds like a big summer clearout which is no bad thing.

  8. I've been pondering this question for a few months now and I was wondering if anyone can answer. Why does Roberto Martinez get linked with nearly every bigger job that comes along? Aston Villa, Liverpool, Everton and maybe even Chelsea?!

He's done the square root of f all! Apart from keeping Wigan in the Premier League, they escape it by the skin of their teeth although I do think their time is up this season. Is it because he has a so called attractive style of football? Even so, he's not gotten very far with this style of football has he. Aye it comes down to finances etc but at the end of the day, Wigan haven't progressed foward under him. Achieving the bare minimum of staying in the league. He talks a good game and is good in front of the cameras but that doesn't make you a good manager.

    Please can someone enlighten me....

  9. It was clearly a rash challenge from Toshney, making contact & impeding Pawlett's movement.

    So, both and therefore dubiety.

Are you high? There was no contact other than a graze on Pawlett's leg hair. It didn't impede Pawlett's movement whatsoever, the ball was going out of play so he threw himself to the floor and got lucky that he conned the ref.

  10. It was a dive. Clear as day. Pawlett needs to get that sorted out very fucking quickly as he already has a catalogue of dives in his repetoire. As much as I don't care about Dundee and think that Brown is one of the mankiest cunts around, for a team to be relegated by a dive is a bit shocking IMO.

I see Dundee are now 'pleading' with Brown to stay. I've never LOL'd so much. Not a ghoster is he quitting as it will be only his source of income for a considerable number of years. No other club in the SPL anyway will ever take him on.
