I too just want this season to be over . . . . as for renewing my season ticket . . . .
-
That's him oot the door
-
As long as he's not a Pittodrie I don't care. So long you shitebag
+1 Auf wiedersehen
-
red card spoiled the game, but glad to see that we managed to at least refrain from conceding any goals until the 2nd half

Edinburgh has a great range of Stadiums which can accomodate any OF/non-OF crowd.
I would have preferred todays game to be at Tynecastle.
True, it's more hope then anything rational.
I remember going to a semi final against Scumdee Utd at Tynecastle and hating every minute of it. (that may be cos we got beat and I remember my boyfriend at the time who supported the pars insisting that we left before full time to avoid "the rush")
:hammer:

I am 32, and so I wasn't around for 1970 or 1976. I can remember avoiding relegation due to Falkirk's ground not being up to scratch and thinking we were fucking lucky.
I have vowed season after season that I am behind the dons and that I will support them to the hilt. Now I will never deny that I am a dons fan, but actually renewing my season ticket for 2011-12 - there lies a question!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Glad I didn't go down to Hampden for this . . . would've been a loooooong journey back up the road
:hammer:

I gave it a 0.
I can't see a new stadium making things any better. We need to get the fundamentals right first. The whole project has been done without any thought for the hardcore dandys who live, eat and breathe AFC and (we all know this anyway) is totally a pocket-lining exercise for Stewarty Milne. And of course, as far as I am concerned the dons are Pittodrie / Pittodrie is the dons and a shiny new stadium with no history doesn't hold much appeal to me.
I'll probably still go to the games once the stadium moves, although my enthusiasm for watching the crap that AFC preport to be football has decreased dramatically this season. I know I've said this for the last few seasons, but I REALLY am not sure about renewing the season ticket this summer . . . . . .

I've decided not to go tonight. Had a complete mare of a day at work on top of feeling like shite anyway so opted for staying warm at home. I do hope that by some fluke we manage to pull something out of the bag and beat them. Will give us some momentum for Sunday

Neil Doncaster in the Retard today claiming that the falling attendances are down to fans being fed up of the 12 team set up and that they will come flooding back once we move to the 10 team set up he wants. Man is delusional if he thinks changing to 10 team league will bring the fans back. If anything it will drive more away.
How thick is Doncaster - the falling attendances are down to the quality of football on display being shit!
-
I sure as fuck hope so!
Every single summer it's a 'big' summer, but I think this one could be the biggest 'big' summer, err....ever!
If CB doesn't take a massive knife and cut a fuck load of the utter shite out of our team and sign some players who might actually inspire some of us the club could be in for a hell of a shakey time.
I agree with you, but at the News of the World Score Roadshow the other month, CB did state that even come the end of this season and preparing for next, he still wouldn't have two pound coins to rub together so forgive me for wondering what the hell is going to happen next season. I'll be as optomistic as the next member of the red army but not counting my chickens.
I wasn't enthusiastic about going to the game on Saturday and by the time the final whistle went, I wished I hadn't bothered. I will support my team to the death, and NEVER deny I'm a dons fan but I want to watch football on a Saturday afternoon and not a bunch of guys who can't defend or pass the ball to save themselves.
-
It is all getting rather depressing. I'm not sure I want to go to the hibs game on saturday but will probably go to the gers game on wednesday night.
Surely next season has to be better
-
thanks for that. I've entered the competition.

Heard his birthday parties were allways a gas
well if sparks fly, it will go with a bang

the "Google" image for today depicts Robert Bunsen's 200th Birthday - let the pun fest commence!

Liz Taylor and Fred Titmus. Goners.
you beat me to it. Just noticed Liz Taylor mentioned on the bbc website
-
think it will precipitate a lot of problems.
I'm surprised that my post has been up all afternoon and this is the only pun reply. . . . . . .

Cooper is to be replaced by John Sheran, ex Cove Rangers . . .Cooper has gone

Offski according to this report from SSN

It's obviously ultimately up to Maguire, but I think he'd be silly to leave at the end of this season. He should stick around at Pittodrie for at least another couple of seasons and then he should have a better chance at regular first team football at whichever team he moves to . . .

Good news. As a day of 'national importance' pubs are allowed extended opening hours
Was in Ma Cameron's at the weekend, sign up, something along the lines of: "Thanks Kate n Wullie, we're open till 2am on 29th April"

Oh come on. At least I gave you a +1 for the entertainment value of your post

Came across this article on the bbc news site in my lunch break

What do others think about introducing "fake rain" in order to make F1 more interesting?

Neale Cooper on the brink:

I was speaking to a season ticket, and they were laying the blame at the players! Sounds familiar.
Did the season ticket have anything of interest to say

(Apart from Brechin) Aberdeen is the only team that fans, travelling from the home city/town, cannot go by train directly to Hampden (Mount Florida) in time for kick-off on a Sunday. If the first train from Aberdeen to Glasgow Queen Street is on time (weekend usual time for engineering works) and arrives at 1211, then all fans will then have the expense of a taxi out to Hampden. Fucking disgrace
According to 'trainline' Motherwell, Dundee and Perth all have several trains to get their (fewer) fans to Glasgow/Hampden. It's a conspiracy!
And they know how much you just loooove those early morning starts to travelling to games!
