Cosgrove and Mckenna have submitted transfer requests.

Logan, McGeough also to be shown the door.

Edit to add: Hedges away in addition.

It is normal to give sources, unlike other forums where the poster likes to present himself as oh so clever.

They even have a term for this, ITK, "in the know" but of course I am telling a detective how to suck eggs.

Providing a source is just basic humanity, decency and courtesy. I think the Bible even says this, Lutherian book 03, verse 19.

No it isn't. The initial thread was about his legacy, not performance in the transfer market. If he's changed the subject halfway through, then I'm in complete agreement that McInnes has been poor in the transfer market. Nobody ever stated otherwise.

I think the title of legacy is clear and that there are many different aspects to what his legacy will be.

But in the OP, there is no doubt that a_d74 was focusing on his performance in the transfer market: -

Posted here last few years about this charlatan bankrurpting the club due to his profligacy in the transfer market 3-5m operational losses last 2 years have came to bite, we are fucked,  crocked pish from Leeds, fat boy Anderson .. Hibs sign talent... if i was in DNA i would ask for my money back ... Bryson has cost us 250k plus  zero return , how long do intelligent men allow this financial vindalism to continue...

So we all agree, like happy little bears, and there is no areas of dispute between usblack and white wink GIF

  3. Ayrshire is talking about the performance of the manager in the transfer market.

I agree with him that's it's in the red, not the black. It's on the debits side, not the credits.

Whatever the P & L says, the debate is about the manager's performance. To somehow try to mitigate this by referring to the overall club's finances - of which McInnes definitely plays a part of course - seems to me to be diversionary and disingenuous.

  4. I've been checking what's trending on Twitter, a daily thing in the last 5/6 months. De Niro is 77 today. This video is a good reflection of the modern world where trolls, who are quite obviously sad and infantile people use their anonymity and their internet voice to attack others. It's not a serious issue on fitba forums of course but I understand that online "bullying", on Facebook perhaps, has led to some pretty serious consequences. It's the same mentality behind all of this nasty and twisted behaviour and like the great actor says, who are these fucking whack jobs? I wonder how they got so sick personally. That would be interesting to know.

  5. In the US Am final, it went all the way to the last with a best ball of 23 under. It's amazing to do that anywhere but to do it at Bandon Dunes is a staggering quality of golf. Their conveyor belt seems to be as strong as ever and whilst Hovland and Horsfield are European by nationality, they learned how to play in the US.

  6. The panel on Sportscene were saying that the problem with Sevco v. Livi was that Ryhun and Kamara were sitting too deep. The Scotland manager wifie was actually impressive in her analysis. It's not just a problem at AFC, there seems to be a national shortage of footballers who can create and attack from the middle and a glut of defensive holding midfielders.

  7. MBT did you see that girl who got suspended for taking a photo in a US high school showing no masks and zero social distancing? She got reinstated pretty quickly but imagine even considering the taking of a photo as a crime. Chris Cuomo had her on the telly and called her a truth warrior.

Manchester United out at semi final stage of Europa league after losing 2-1 to Sevilla. Another cracking game. Really don’t get the hype around Harry Maguire or Marcus Rashford. Don’t think either are top level players English media claim they are. Also another big game where Pogba was anonymous.

Pogba's attitude stinks and is why SAF got rid.

Maguire is a massive waste of money.

I quite like Rashford but probably mostly because he got the government to do a U-turn.

As I really don't like Man U, I was delighted with the result.

Tracking online? You mean checking the score

    This is another example.

What value does this type of post add to the forum?

As tup pointed out, we have weirdos in our midst and this is partly my fault for giving them oxygen.

I don't associate with the mentally ill in real life so I am no longer going to deal with them here.

To Coventry they shall go and I will no longer need to ponder as to what happened to make them so sick.

    Fuck those cunts.

Is there a specific reason why the edit option disappears after a short time, and that we don't seem to be able to delete our own posts anymore?

Good question. I suspect it's just how the new site is built but I could do with deleting whole swathes of my posts responding to mutants I really shouldn't be talking to.

He should quit if you don’t think he can win.

    twat

You should quit if you can't see two and a half dozen golfers beating your pick.

If he quits golf, it takes money out of my pocket. I said I didn't think he wasn't ready to win TODAY.

Your obsession on this forum has been noted by everyone so try and grow up.

    Fucking infantile thick cunt

  12. I was tracking the game online and so pleased to see 0-0. Livi took points of sellic if I remember in last couple of years. Great to see them damaging the new club's quest for their first trophy ??

That's amazing that both of your picks in the last week never got close to giving you a run for your money. What a shame.

There's 40/1 here waiting for you here if you fancy another bite or you want to go chasing?

  14. Fuck, bogey at 1 by Connor (toughest hole on the course), only his second drop of the week and a treble by Cormac at the 4th.

Bad start to the day but ho hum, see it all if you keep looking long enough.

  15. 20/1 is a good return though and probably about right.

I'm desperate for Connor to win. It's going to be tough playing with Horsfield (who putted poorly yesterday but is an awesomely consistent ball-striker) and I'm looking for Cormac to have a great round, to continue his excellent scoring trend this week. Cormac one of the best iron players in the world and is putting better and better as the weeks go on.

I should really consider swapping my big and little meals roon and make more effort at lunch, like they do on the continent.

We never have two big meals in one day but since the wife retired and now that the eat out to help out is on, we have a good meal at lunch and either a very small bite in the evening or nothing at all if we had a couple of good courses at lunch.

Speaking of sourdough, or dough balls in particular, can you do the forum a favour? One of the mutant migrants from the hat joined up two weeks ago and nobody is taking him on. Ok it's difficult to given that 99% of what it posts is nonsense directed at me but after its sick reference to my wife in its first attempt at banter and jocularity, I'm ignoring it, as it knows. It's painful watching it post and I feel sorry for it but it's desperate for attention and it would be nice if someone can take him on and give him some polite and constructive exchanges.

You know the one. He follows the same formula as the children on the hat but incredibly, it's NOT a child, born in 1964! You know the formula, they make shit up and regurgitate it so often we wonder if they actually believe their own lies - Fabricate, Repeat, Believe. If you're still unsure, he's the one with a horrible username, well, horrible to me because I can't stand the monarchy (and Royal is something a hun might use) and the people on Deeside offend me, them being like the Edinburgh classes, anti-independence, pro Tory and English wannabes.

Give him some love. He's obviously hurting. It's quite disturbing watching a disturbed grown man investing so much energy to attempt to attack a poster on the internet. He might not have much else to do in his sad little life of course but by all of us continuing to let him make a cunt of himself unchecked, I fear for its future.

It's okay (only been in at lunch).

That was JW's Sushi in Huntly street we were talking about. Since SooShe shut five months ago, we've been using JW's a lot and it's actually really good. We got a small order last night and their rolls are first class. And nobody can fuck up sashimi, which is always a staple for us.

As I was waiting at the lights at the top of Holburn Street, I noticed the pub opposite on Union Street had a pig as it's logo. Quite bizarre if you think about it, perhaps they're presenting themselves as a gastro pub and pretending that they serve pig on a spit? They also had this big thank you NHS sign in the window which I thought was also bizarre. Unless the staff all have partners who work in the NHS or unless they have a strong proportion of NHS workers within their clientele, it seemed to me to be a cynical marketing ploy that a chain might try, as if the Aberdeen mannie is going to go, great, what nice and compassionate people, I think I'll go in here for a drink. That sort of shite might appeal to the English but fuck that for a game of sudjers here in the NE.

  19. I joined Portlethen 25 odd years ago when we came back to Scotland and having bought a house in Stoney (couldn't afford to buy in Abz), one year at the mountain goat track that was and is Stonehaven was too much.

I liked it then. It was young and maturing  and improving every year and had some good times. After we came back from St Andrews I rejoined it but left after 12 months. I detest it now, not just the course but the members and the (relatively) new pro is a weegie-sounding arse. It was taking 4 and three quarters on a Saturday. Too busy with lots of clueless hacking ignorant fucks. And the course stopped improving and has grown into a total bore.
