It seems everything has been agreed with the player just awaiting the clubs to agree the fee according to the Darlington manager.

Did see Darlington a couple of years ago and the standard is dreadful. I am just hoping JC knows what he is looking at and thinks this guy can make the step up.

The best player on the park was Pineapple heed so that is saying something about the standard.

I would have thought we'd have matched the 2K a week. Bit crazy really. But then again, he's not an international (i know we wouldn't be able to get one) and he wasn't our top pick. Slightly worrying though that we couldn't even convince him to join. Oh well, onwards and upwards.

I can believe that Afc would have tried to offer this guy less money. But i also believe this guy was prob playing us against his club for more money rather than uproot to Scotland. 

According to Mad, he's been offered a new deal. Nothing mentioned on AFC yet though.

It is all very well to slate the efforts of Miller et al in contract negotiations but who's to say our best deal hasn't already been offered to Maybury and he's just keeping his options open?

 

 

 

 

The way i took it from sat was both the club and Player was quite happy to wait til end of season before talking contracts. Also think the way it came across is he is keeping his options open.

I was actually speaking to him on sat in Edinburgh  he spoke to JC on fri and his agent was going to speak to WM next wk. He also said nothing will be done quickly and he in no rush. He is away on holiday as well.

Anyone else cringe when we sing "Ha ha ha ha" etc... to the tune of their "Hello Hello" filth?

I didnt cringe i thought it was quite good winding those Scum up. Its a song they can no longer sing and they hate that fact so anything to wind them up makes for a better atmosphere. 

After last week, I'm being a real killjoy and insisting my son and his mates get a lift in with me on Thursday rather than taking the train.

I could go with them on the train but the thought of listening to their weegie accents and their smell just makes me want to puke.

i am going to suffer them all the way from Edinburgh me and Aberdeen Ladette is on train up. Hopefully we have timed it right and we get in earlier than them. 

Next day train should be fine hopefully.

Yes both games mean nothing but am sure there will be more Aberdeen fans go to the Man u game as you are playing a quality team and its different occasion.

Mate just bought a ticket for Section y and she had no problems getting a ticket. Will be pleasantly surprised if we get a sell-out and that No huns will be in our end.

That is utter madness.  Thursday night has the potential to kick-off spectacularly.... and I don't just mean the Huns.  If we lose 0-5 and hand the title to Rangers I could see some of our supporters going for JC.

I think there will be trouble but i also think there must be a few Huns in the Aberdeen end??? As the article on Northsound was saying we are nearing a sell-out and i just cant see we would take that many dandies for a game that means nothing, so i really think there will be trouble in the stands as well.

If we lose 5-0 i will be following Mizer and Tyrant after JC as we have put up enough this season without having this SCUM celebrate on our doorstep. 

They would have to beat us by 4 +  goals and  i seriously cant see that and if we do we should be hunting for JC after the game cause that would be unacceptable.

My mate just got back to me said he wanted £3500 p/w plus signing on fee for wages. Not good enough for there devision but would have kept him if they got relegated. Has hardly played this season and hasnt scored very lazy and wont tackle but good pace. He also just texted again to say NOT good enough for AFC.

Dont think we need this type of player at Aberdeen on that sort of wages doing nothing. 

Withdraw his contract offer.  So much for we only want players who WANT to play for this club.  Miller making a fool of us but not Miller's fault since we are letting him do it 5 months on from contract offer.

We continue to let him take the piss while his agent is looking for the perfect move. The other targets JC is interested in will be snapped under bosman.

I think he would be a good signing for us. Lost his way abit last season not sure if that was down to off field problems but still a very good finisher. 

My mates a Blackpool st holder will give him a shout see if any truth.

Would have loved to see Lovell stay that would have been a decent pairing.

South stand section Y as you get a great view of the pitch and its a good atmosphere at bigger games. 

To be honest the atmosphere outwith the bigger games is Shit anywhere in ground even the Ultras trying there best it still doesnt really work as you cant really hear them.

I was only 4 was gutted my dad didnt take me. My granda and uncle went over as well in a transit van. He likes to remind me about all the stuff they did to get over there and it being one of the best nights of his life.  

Will be on train on sun so wont be doing much. The events they have put on look good but not well advertised.

As I said earlier we played a back 3 last Saturday and it worked very well, there's no reason why it couldn't work or that we shouldn't at least try it for a while.  Imo the communication and understanding with your team mates is a lot better when playing in a back 3.  You're a lot tighter and more compact.

Sorry really have to disagree with here Zander Touzani are not capable of playing as a 3 at the back reguarly. They both are too slow to play as a 3,

Touzani looked ok on sat because he playing against lumbering centre forward in De Vries we will see how good he is against pacey players on sat. 

Rangers know thay don't have a cat in hell's chance of winning the UEFA Cup, that's why they're getting their excuses in already.

Sorry but have to disagree here i think they have every chance of winning the bloody thing. I think they are more concerned about losing the league and thats why they want the game this w/end to be cancelled. If they dont win the league no automatic champions league position.

But they have a big enough squad to be rotating the squad and letting some of the players rest. They only have themselves to blame for cancelling some of the games earlier. 

He should be playing more as some said but not at centre half as he is too slow. Against De vries looked ok as he is not the most mobile of players suggest that might be different against Porter and Clarkson.

Same here. Don't really care if they win the domestic trophies. Would hate them to win the UEFA cup though.
