    Cheers Manc!Ā

Rico might be right about Scales not having the best positioning. I wonder though if the referee goes to the pitch side monitor to examine that with VAR does he make that decision? Its a game defining moment and there is not really anything concrete there for me.Ā

Itā€™s got to be something that would overturned by VAR, as for me thereā€™s a clear and obvious error. The error is that Itā€™s not a penalty, as simple as that. Not sure whether Goodwin should have gone into as much personal detailĀ on Porteous. He could of left it at the refā€™s been conned and it was never a penalty. That telling it like it is.Ā
One of the good thing about Michael Stewart reviewing it in the studio is that he tells it as it is. Never sits on the fence. I like that in him, even if I donā€™t always agree with him. ToĀ many pundits are fence sitters.Ā

Totally it's just a fucking joke!! The UK is a gulag people etc forced against there will to mourn & to disrupt real peoples lives & the millions all us plebs pay for the fkn funeral! I'd stick her on a bonfireĀ

!!Ā  I'd fkn love to immigrate away from this sycophantic uk.

It's a fucking joke if this is what happens! They royals could actually act like decent people here & announce its optional & it's only 2 days either side of the funeral to mourn! not fucking 10-12 days! It's draconian & disgustingĀ

! Fuck The Monarchy and all who ride in her!!

Iā€™ve read some idiotic and ignorant posts on here in the past but this about takes the cake.

Remember that in all of this and through the rage that you clearly have, people have lost a mum, a granny, a friend, etc. Ā Itā€™s perhaps worth focussing on that rather than what you feel is a suitable mourning period or the potential for missing a weeks football.Ā

I would have. I've always thought he was a fantastic player who could have got a proper move. Unfortunately McInnes decided otherwise and we lost him to the scum. He adds something - on his day - that other players don't, and I'm really surprised he's not been in a Scotland squad. Obviously, he's an utter rat fuck.

scott Wrightā€¦.You on the glue, Rico.Ā

Hans Gillhaus was a fantastic player.Ā

  4. Iā€™ve not been to a huge amount of away games but Iā€™ve been to a good few in my time and Iā€™ve never seen that.Ā
itā€™s the sort of thing that I associate Rangers as doing in the away end at Pittodrie, because it used to happen all the time with that lot but, I always thought, perhaps naively, that we were better than that.Ā
The noise from our fans on the weekend was brilliant. You could see the manager and players respond to that at full time.Ā
but FFSā€¦donā€™t smash the place up.Ā

Good to see the young team coming up with some new chants. I wasn't there, but by all accounts the away end was in good voice on Saturday.

    Ā

    Ā

Is that the back of a seat that I see being paraded above their heads as the leave McDairmid? I really hope Iā€™m wrong but it looked like there were a few bits of seats being held up at the end of the game, like some kind of trophy.Ā
    surely weā€™re better than that?Ā

  6. Jonny Hayes covered soooo much ground today. Brilliant to see. McCrorie as well, charged about and had a great second half.Ā
thought the Defence in general were good today.Ā
felt sorry for Ramirez today. Sent out to warm up on his own. Almost as soon as he was sent out, they subbed off Miovski. Ramirez raging and hauled off his subs Bib as he walked frustratedly back to the dugout.Ā

  7. Yep, an awful shame. 58 is so young!

Great goalie and the second best goalie Iā€™ve seen playing in the Scottish leagues since I started properly watching football in 1986.Ā

  8. Iā€™m not sad to see Gallagher go but really disappointed with how his signing worked out. He should have been great for us. Perhaps he was like the Central belt Delle Alliā€¦.great for one season but a one season wonder and comparable to the mighty Andy Dowā€¦except not as nice!Ā

    Good riddance to Gallagher

    Now, get rid of Bates.

I canā€™t agree with getting rid of Bates. Time will tell but I think Bates will be just fine with a run of games where he plays as a RCB, with a competent player on his left. I donā€™t think anyone saw coming just how bad Bates and Gallagher would be together. It no doubt had a negative effect on Joe Lewis too who arguably had is his worst season for us.

Iā€™m expecting good things from the defence this year. Much more confident and solid performances.Ā

  10. Calvin Ramsay was without doubt the brightest prospect to come through at Aberdeen since, Jess, Booth, Glass.

a properly talented boy, who is balanced and confident on the ball beyond his years. If he stays injury free, gets playing time and gets the coaching to continue his development, he has the potential for me to be better than Nathan Patterson and Ā be Scotlandā€™s number 1 right back.Ā

  11. Heā€™s going to be a big loss to us. Ā Player of the year for us, despite it being given to McCrorie. Not only will we lose out in the midfield, weā€™ll lose goals too potentially. Heā€™s always been good at converting penalties and weā€™d need someone to take that on with the same success.Ā

  12. The structured deal of bonuses based on appearances and progression are a hit and hope. Iā€™d far rather we actually get a decent fee for him and guaranteed money. As weā€™ve seen with Ryan Fraser, these things donā€™t always work out, and accepting Ā£3.5 MM with clauses is a total shambles that Aberdeen should be trying to avoid at all costs. To be honest, the best scenario is that he stays with us for another season, improves, and perhaps goes south after that with a few more akin to Patterson to Everton.

  13. I remember the header down and the strike so well. Was level with it in the south stand that day and it was like it happened in slo motion.

Lovellā€™s second was a good goal too from an acute angle and it seemed like for the first time in years we were destined to beat rangers. It was so comfortable that day.

the best bit was that the night before, Iā€™d been at my mates wedding and in the hotel, rangers were staying the night. We went into the residents bar and McCoist and McDowell were just finishing up. We challenged them to a game of question of sport and in fairness to them both, as they were surrounded by dons fans, they stayed for 2 hours firing questions back and fore but as they left I told them weā€™d beat the tomorrow and he laughed.
But I got the last laugh!!Ā

  14. McCrorie has done absolutely nothing wrong. Heā€™s a human being who went to support his family and friends.Ā
So what. Ā Get fucken over it.Ā
This obsession with the old firm players and particularly players associated with Rangers is fucken embarrassing.Ā
Itā€™s the same as has been mentioned in a separate topic with the lack of love and support shown to Lewis Ferguson even though heā€™s been our players if the year (yes he has!) this season and scores plenty goals for us.Ā
The support are happy to sing about Ojo who has been pish for us but conversely donā€™t dare sing for Ferguson who apart from one season, has been very good for usā€¦all because of pettiness. No doubt McCrorie will be the same now! Ā Beggars belief!!Ā
As long as they are ā€˜Aberdeenā€™ on the pitch when they are doing their job, that they are paid to do, then thatā€™s what matters.Ā

Considine played right centre back for a while alongside McKenna and was absolutely fine because he could just come out with his body shape reversed on his wrong foot because he was going to take the conservative option of the short pass or the chip down the line (the percentage game) anyway. Watch Considine play against the Huns down at Ibrox at right centre half against Morelos and you wouldn't have known he was on his wrong side because 95% of his game was unaffected.

Iā€™m not sure Considine is a good comparisonā€¦.I might be wrong and getting him confused with someone else but is Considine not in fact right footed?Ā
We all assume heā€™s left footed but Iā€™m sure there was something where Early in his Aberdeen career when it became apparent that heā€™d be getting deployed at LB or LCB, he made the decision himself to focus on playing everything in training and games on his left.Ā
hence he is comfortable on whatever side.

Ojo Montgomery and Ruth start??? Why? Thought line up was based on players who will be here next year. Makes me even wonder if we have an option to buy Montgomery?

Id rather see one or two of the young kids, even as shit as kennedy and mclennan are, Iā€™d rather see them if theyā€™ll be here next year.

Adam Montgomery is a bang average footballer that we somehow took on loan. Itā€™s a disgrace that he is starting tonight in a dead rubber game ahead of actual Aberdeen signings or the young lads.Ā

  17. For what itā€™s worth, Iā€™d personally like Considine and the club to come to some sort of agreement and hope all is not lost. Ā Even if Gallagher and Bates are deemed first choice, consi has been here before where heā€™s apparently been down the pecking order. Through training well, being a mode professional, he has forced his way back in, to the point where he was one of the first names on the team sheet. It would be great to see him with us for another year, instead of next to Ash in Ayrshire or playing in the championship for Cove.Ā
