don't need any fancy site for me.
House to pittodrie: 3 miles
return: 3 miles
20 home games attended = 120 miles.
What do I win?
-
Yep, Theo or Hans.
Opted for Theo in the end as he was simply outstanding for the majority of his time at Pittodrie.

Miller was winning a lot of balls in the air but I still have a problem with him in that he has zero ability to actually find players. There is generally no way of knowing where the ball will end up when he wins it and thats why we can't make the lone striker work. He isn't good enough to win the ball and hold it up.
Mackie & Maguire really need to start making runs on the assumption that he's going to win a flick on. Every time he does they're standing still watching. Didn't Miller assist Mackie last night?
EDIT: beat me to it jmo.

Given the choice of Seve in midfield plus Considine/Mair at CB, or Touzani midfield with Seve at CB, I'd go for the latter every time.

Nothing wrong with leaving early... greetin that you're leavin because of tactics is a different story.
If you're a real early leaver you leave both the good and the bad for no apparent reason.
(half time exit for me last night )
But hey ho - I never claim and don't want to be a "real fan"
I'm curious, why would you leave at half-time last night?
-
£70k looks like it would have been a bargain, Swansea have just rejected an offer of £750k from Derby.
Chances are though we'd probably be releasing him after a season on the sidelines due to injuries and him just not settling in the North East.

My card expires on 1st July. And given my 'contact' in the ticket office knows I will no longer be a student I suspect I will not be so lucky.
Sneckie, early bird prices are before July 1st so your card is still valid. All returning students will have to use their 2007/08 card as they wont have their 2008/09 card until August so they'll have to honour it. Conditions just state a valid student ID card.

Has Miller ever renewed or extended a contract?

Although you get a better "360 degree" perspctive of what's going on in the RDU (player movements, formations, tactics etc), I tend to agree with this. You can't beat the view from the centre of the Main Stand. Close to the action and the dug-outs, you feel much more involved in what's going on.
Yep, that's where I sit now. Had my ST for 10 years in the RDU before moving and going back to a closer, side on view was so much better. Still miss the atmosphere of the RDU at times tho'.

I heard today that Blackpool are interested in Lee Miller with KP going in the opposite direction.
Parker's been out of Blackpool's team for most of the season, apparently prefers performing off the pitch.

One tit behind us has go at every single mistake made with "fucks sake Andy" or "fuck off Young" or "useless cunt Miller" and quite often gets the player wrong. Almost came to blows in our area couple of weeks ago.
Gave up on our RDS ticket for the very same reason, just couldn't hack listening to the same bampot slag off everything related to huns, Tims & England. GTF Aitken you Tim bastard, Miller GTF you hun, Jimmy GTF you hun, Preece ye English......and so on, week after week after week.
Also in the RDS upper you get no appreciation for the skill of the players, hardness of tackles etc. Its a bit like watching sensible soccer.

Anyway, agree choice of substitutes was possibly ill advised. However, although I've not seen the highlights, I reckon the fact that Diamond was trying not to get booked possibly contributed to the poor defending and maybe one of the goals. He put himself ahead of the team which suggests that maybe I'm wrong in backing him for captain.
Apologies if this has been mentioned already but I've avoided the net and newspapers until now. Diamond was the main culprit in my eyes and the fear of getting booked and missing the final caused the whole team to miss the final.
He was all over the place, stood off everyone, didn't commit himself to any tackle.
Second Goal - could have slid in on Stewart before he crossed
Third Goal - had two opportunities, could have come across and headed ball clear after ball bounced over Considine, could have got closer to O'conner when he shot.
Fourth goal - three defenders going for the same ball leaving two at the back post, not totally his fault but he was one of the three.

Good on Falkirk for the gesture, but thats only 140 odd folk. They normally take around 4-500, so that won't make that much of a difference.
Depending on the Hearts/Killie result there might be the same amount of Dons fans.

Oh well. What can we say. Didn't think our away record was going to be bucked today. But hey, it's nae Kilmarnock we were playing ... it's BAYERN MUNICH! Probably between them and Dnipro as favourites for the cup when the whole tournament began.
When I found out we were playing them in the last 32, i was thinking 5-0 at home and 6-0 away. To come out of this two-legged tie with a final score of 7-3 is by no means embarassing. They are probably the strongest team in the last 32. We are EASILY the weakest team in the last 32.
Well done Dons. Thankyou for giving the fans something to be excited about this season. The fans have had wonderful trips to Madrid and Munich, and those fans who are too young to remember the Gothenburg years have been given their own piece of folklore to take with them in the results over Dnipro and Copenhagen.
I just hope we can find a way back into next season's cup.
Well said Reekie min.

Personally I love the fact that the fans can show the opposition that they're still enjoying themselves despite the fact we're getting humped. It's a two fingers up attitude, nothing you can sing at us can ruin our day.
The one thing I hate is a gloomy, silent ground when you're getting beat and the opposition fans start singing Aberdeen songs for you. Now that hurts.
Also, why show how much you're hurting? Wouldn't want to give them the satisfaction of knowing how painful the defeat was.
-
BBC have obviously gone with the team with the larger number of fans, ensuring higher ratings.
Do you not think they'd receive even more complaints if they showed our game instead?
-
It would appear that the cost cutting is aimed purely at operating costs.
Yes, they're planning on closing Bon Accord Baths but they're still also going ahead with plans for a 50m olympic size pool. Really can't see the sense in all the cost cutting just to build a multi-million pound pool just to train a few folk to swim fast.
The stadium will be ok.

I wonder what will happen if I throw a cup of tea over Calderwood on Sunday? Dug out is just in front of my seat so I'll have plenty of opportunity.
"come on Jimmy, its only a cup of tea, lighten up min!"
-
Jc in most sunday papers saying that Barry wouldnt like the championship as its all long ball stuff which wouldnt suit him.
hope he stays but cant see it. he will want his retirment fund
Does Jimmy watch our games?
-

Copenhagen £26
Falkirk £18
Bayern £35
Shop: Kids top £26
