  1. I'd say it is a well-known fact that they are spending a lot more than is coming in and the begging bowl has gone around the board room table again just to keep them afloat. According to their own report, they need an additional £7m this season from new directors loans to keep them going until the end of the season. Those loans will, of course, be deferred loans with deferred interest (as ours from Milne and SMG were) but that's still £7m needed.

They've also spunked money on the whole Barton fiasco, that's a minimum of £1m they've wasted. (already budgeted in the additional £7m needed)

They've screwed up the sacking of the management team, that's another £1.2m on top of the £7m

£8.2m needed to keep them going until the end of the season.

King was very forthright in their need of European football next season to balance the books. They are becoming a distant 3rd with Hearts 5 and St Johnstone 6 points behind them. Normally that would mean it was tied up with 12 games to go for a club that spends as much as Rangers but they are on a poor run and their next 2 league games are St Johnstone and then Celtic. St Johnstone have been good away from home, Celtic will roll over them. That could be enough for St Johnstone to catch them and ally some serious pressure. If they miss 3rd they are in serious danger. Saying that the way King was singing about his plan I'd guess the group stages or possibly a glamourous play off were a must next season in Europe and entering in the first round means that is nowhere near a given.

They'll have yet another court case soon against the man with a magic hat and co, legal fees dont come cheap.

I've heard rumours that they are done at the split, I doubt that as they'll just sell their season tickets early again.

The players they have are overpaid and nowhere near good enough, some are on 3 year deals. That means they'll have the same wage bill for the next 2 seasons with the same shite on display unless they borrow more money.

At some point the three bears or whatever they are calling themselves will have to say enough is enough, especially when King has not dipped into his own pocket.

    If you add it all up they'll have debts of;

2017 - £29.1 (from their books) + £1.2m (for the management team sacking)

    2018 - £9m (minimum)

    2019 - £9m (minimum)

By that you can have an educated guess that the rangers international will be the grand total of £48m in debt by the end of season 2018/2019 and it'll be then before they can offload enough of their expensive flops to start to rebuild their team.

    That's £48m MINIMUM

How they'll get a European licence with that debt and overspend v income I dont know.

How they'll be able to sustain that sort of 'investment' from directors I dont know.

How long those in the board will be willing to pump that in while King sits in SA doing and putting up FA I dont know.

Even if they dont fold, again, its going to be years before they can even look to challenge us never mind Celtic and with that their income will drop year on year. Those huns are fickle, if the team is getting constantly beaten they stop turning up.

To conclude my now oversized post - even without the rumours of the stadium crumbling being true they are screwed for years.

  2. Hell yeah. Cutest ass on a 50 year old you are ever likely to encounter.

I'll be soiling her dress a la Bill Clinton style

Better than say...Sandra Bullock or Elle McPherson or Courteney Cox or Liz Hurley?

  3. In my opinion, we do need to care who ALL the intelligence agencies work for. Even the German intelligence people were intervening with journalists to ensure pro-US propaganda.

I thought it was the FBI who brought the e-mails to light, whoever and wherever they were sourced? This suggests pro-Trump and anti-Clinton. As for the line that Russia intervened in the election, how weak would a nation be to be affected by another? Whether the hackers were Russian or Montenegroan, the discovery of the e-mails doesn't influence anything. It's what's in them and who put them out in the mainstream that matters, and why.

The FBI initially found out about the private server but 30000+ emails were 'lost' before any investigation could take place. Trump stood on a platform shouting lock her up, crooked Hilary and as there were already rumours the Russians had been hacking the Democrat campaign, using social media to spread 'fake news' and were also responsible for the FBI finding out about the private server initially Trump then asked the Russians publically to find the missing emails. The FBI then 'found' more emails on a campaign managers laptop while investigating her husband for grooming a minor.

Its not the nation that has to be weak, its the citizens of that nation. Russian propaganda houses are also based in the UK filling social media and comment on newspaper websites with pro- Russian views and were also fully behind the online Breiteers. Weak minds believe the hype, they plant the seed and watch the Russian agenda grow.

There was nothing in the emails bar people slagging each other off and being underhand. The 'rigging' of Clinton v Sanders was confirmed although it was already known and the Clinton camp getting the gist of some media questions before they were asked. No bombshells, no state secrets. the drip feeding of them to WikiLeaks by the hackers and then how the Republican FBI Head, James Comway, followed it up gave Trump more than enough false ammo to fire at Clinton and have some of it stick.

Media and public manipulation through selected and timed leaks by the Russians helped win Trump the election. Whether or not the CIA can show he colluded in that will decide if he is still sitting in the Whitehouse at Christmas.

  4. Wow. Trump engaged hackers from Russia? To do what? Expose the opposition's e-mails? How did Trump know what Hitlery wrote? Why does that even matter, the method and the parties involved in exposing truth?

Unlike you, I don't have any facts on who, why or how. I thought it was Wikileaks who revealed the e-mails and I think they did say Russian sources. But this doesn't harm Trump?

As for Trump pissing off the intelligence community, isn't this not a good thing? Did we vote for the intelligence operatives, the ones with all the tools to make or break people, the ones in bed with the presstitute media? Do we know who the intelligence agencies work for? Do we know the agenda they're working to? Is all the evidence that we do know about surrounding 21st century dealings in Iraq, Libya, Saudi Arabia, Israel, Syria etc. etc. fabricated too? The same evidence that proves that the truth has been deliberately concealed from the people?

It matters to the US because its against their laws, truth/fake news <delete as appropriate> exposed or not. Snowden is a fugitive because he exposed the truth, a truth that showed the extent the US government was spying on its own people, spying to the extent that it goes against the US constitution.

In the US colluding with a foreign power to sway an election is treason, as it should be.

Trump stood on a stage and asked the Russians to find the emails in the hope that there was classified information within the emails, he could then use that leak and Clinton's use of a private server as a tool to have Clinton charged and win the election by default. Just because the content of the emails was not as sensitive as he had hoped that doesnt mean asking for their assistance and if it can be proved, employing their assistance, is not colluding with a foreign power to sway the outcome of an election.

The US Secretary of State was asked yesterday if the Russians were involved, he said that there is evidence Russia had tried to tamper or had succeeded in tampering with democratic elections in several countries. At the same time his boss was claiming he knew nothing about it. At best Trump is incompetent, at worst he's an out and out liar. If you use his previous as a benchmark then liar would be the obvious conclusion.

We didnt vote for any of them and we dont pay the wages of any of them either, the only Aberdonians that get a say in a US election or that pay the wages of the CIA/FBI are those that live in Washington State.

I didnt think nor was it intended that my post claimed or showed I cared who the FBI and/or CIA work for. Only that they will find and if they can find they will create evidence that will string Trump and his campaign team from the rafters. Trump is making it very easy for anything found to be believed. He publically asked for Russian help - tongue in cheek or not, his companies owe a fortune to a bank that has just been fined the largest fine ever handed out by the US for Russian money laundering, money that could be tied up in his buildings and his company and he is denying any knowledge that his team were speaking to the Russians before his inauguration and that he knows anything about Russian interferance with elections all while those in his cabinet state otherwise.

  5. Trumps days are numbered.

I give it 3 months before solid connections are made between his campaign camp and Russian hackers, he's pissed off far too many people in the intelligence community for them not to find them. The may be as solid as Saddam's WOMD but they'll be found.

He knows it as well, thats why he's went from denying it ever happened to now saying not to his knowledge.

He'll be impeached by the end of the year.

  6. I find it tragic how so many invest so much time watching a screen.

Banksy - one of the greatest humans - is forever tweeting about the need to read.

A good story is a good story no matter the format of its delivery.

TV that is no more than jam for the masses is where the problem lies. Celebrity reality shows filled with celebrities that are only known for being on other reality shows are a sad indictment of what is seen as entertainment today. Men that are famous for no more than having tattoos on their tattoos, drinking too much and fucking young women over, young women that are famous for no more than exposing themselves and allowing said tattooed men to fuck them over and over again live on TV.

  7. The ebay shop I bought mine from has sold out for the moment.

    Very similar to this though

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ZGEMMA-H-2S-DUAL-SAT-TUNER-32GB-USB-SETUP-WITH-SLYK-SKIN-12-Month-Gift-/222279906404?hash=item33c0ea3464:g:3lsAAOSwMVdYF8yc

Same box, set up etc. Looks like a slightly different skin (program guide and channel chooser) but think it's the same. If in doubt ask them first. They dont need nor want complaints so will be entirely straight with you. Selling Sky on ebay isnt legal, they 'gift' you the channels

  8. Our discounted sky deal is up in a couple of months or so and looking into alternatives, does anyone have a decent summary of what zgemma receivers or kodi boxes give you? Had a quick google search but it's a bit of a mind fuck with all the different opinions.

Am I right in thinking zgemma mirrors the sky system/planner but you can only get SD channels through the planner etc and any HD  or subscription services need to be played through an app? Can you still pause/rewind/record/get on demand on it?

What's the story with Kodi? How does it compare to the functionality of sky+?

I know that neither will probably do everything sky+ does but wanting to get as close as possible if we do bin sky.

Picked up a Zgemma box last week, bought the H2S box for the bedroom to see what it was like.

Paid £150 for it, came with 1 year subscription for all the channel (all sky channels + BT sport)

Not a lot of HD channels but you get used to that.

Its plug and use. All I did was plug the powerline adapter into the plug in the walls, 1 next to the router and one in the bedroom next to the box (this is what the internet comes through to your box, they use the electricity cables in your house to send the internet signal - BT and Talk Talk do the same for a 2nd box) and hooked it up to the Sky dish.

That was it, Sky TV for £150 for the year and it comes with a Kodi build already in it. I'm a bigger fan of zgemma than kodi, it works just like Sky and the channels are all easy to find. Kodi is a prick about in my opinion. You have to search through loads of stuff to find what you want but then it is good for films.
