Congratulations.
Try the beer - its good.
-
you're a real fan Dave
Damn right!
Although, that didn't stop me not getting a ticket in the Groningen (away) ballot.
Bastards.

My 5th game of the season
-
Plan A.
-
So there's no Plan B then as I thought.
No. You've thought wrong.
There are 3 options for 'Plan B':
- Informal use of GBP
- The Euro
- A new Scottish Currency
I hope this clears up any confusion you still have.
- Informal use of GBP
-
And when you factor in that Spain is generally shite it's bad news all round really.
It gets worse, for reasons that have yet to become apparent I'm going there to run 26 miles (and 385 yards) on the day of the Scottish League Cup Final.
-
I would agree. Plan B would surely see interest rates set by a foreign country and a lack of control over the currency.
They weren't in order, 'Plan B' could be any of those other 3 options.
-
It's a domestic airport only. From memory the only way to San Sebastian by air from the UK is via Bilbao or Biarritz.
From the UK I'm pretty sure you can connect in either Madrid or Barcelona.
I'm no expert though.
I've also learned today that I'm going to Barcelona then weekend before 'The Classic' - terrible timing.
-
1. Using GBP with a formal agreement.
2. Using GBP without a formal agreement.
3. Using EURO.
4. Using a new Scottish Currency.
My personal preference being #4.

If folk are voting for independence just to wind up the huns then we really do live in a fucked up country.
As for the currency and not caring what it is, just ask the Irish - the Euro has been a complete disaster. The Yes campaign don't have a Plan B if we can't use the pound sterling, this is still the clincher for many people.
The Yes! Campaign offered a Plan A, B, C & D for currency, so you can hardly legitimately complain there isn't a 'Plan B'.
Claiming the Euro has been a complete disaster for Ireland is also being rather over-dramatic. The Irish themselves are as much to blame as the Euro for the mess they managed to get themselves into.

I've never been, but I think San Sebastian Airport might serve San Sebastian?
-
Silverburn - I think.
It was busy but moving when I arrived, but then no busses turned up for about an hour which (understandably) caused chaos.
-
Park & Ride was a bit of a joke yesterday,
I turned up 2 hours before the start of the athletics and still missed the start. Was told there were no bussed because the Rugby had finished early.
Load of pish.
Hampden really is a terrible stadium.
Really can't be arsed heading down again this weekend for the Closing Ceremony.

Bonus of Scotland's voting yes number 236. Being able to sing "you're not British anymore" at the Huns.
'Britain' is a geographic term.
You'll still be both British and Scottish regardless of how the vote goes.
I couldn't care less about currency, as long as it can be used to buy food and the like, I don't really care.
-
Aye, Tyrant - you've forgotten the best part of your trip....?
Rated Groningen as a destination, their team is pish though. Their 'mob' was also an embarrassment, they ran so fast I almost spilt my G&T.
Langfield has been reliable enough the last 18 months or so, but we can and should have somebody much better than him.
Gutted to not be making Spain this week.
-
If you've time but nae money, the megabus from Aberdeen to Barcelona is only £40.
You'll probably have to leave tonight to get there for KO though.
Fuck knows how you get to San Sebastian from Barca though.
I'm not going though as Spain is shite.
-
No chance.
They'll absolutely destroy us.
Sad but true.
-
What are you trying to suggest like?
That the catering facilities down at Pittodrie are as inadequate as our set piece delivery.
-
If it's just Me, Kow & Tyrant going - at which minute in the first half will they run out of hot food?
-
In/oot: In

Every player should be willing to stab his grunny for the chunce to play for the famous AFC football club.
I'd certainly stab it into your granny if it meant I could wear the famous #47 shirt.
-
Oot.
Oot.
Oot.
Oot.
Don't care - as long as it goes down to the final day.
-
Happy Birthday.
I'll go bake a cake to celebrate.
Independence - Yay or Nay

I'd agree with this.
Thought Salmond was a bit crap.
Darling was significantly better than I've ever seen him.
The only thing the debate seems to have done is to get both sides to dig their heels in deeper.
Hope the next one is better, otherwise I'm gonna have to cut myself off from all social media before I kill somebody, probably myself.
