I've seen a lot of references to these guidelines elsewhere, but no real detail. Do you have any details? Eg. are footballers actually prohibited from going to the pub or otherwise held to a more strict set of laws than the rest of us?
Yes.
They are not allowed to socialise outwith the 'Social Bubble' (i.e. the team).

Hearing there is more to this than eight players involved
Fuck sake what a mess this really is becoming.
Also hearing that it's not just players involved.

They had an impossible job, but somehow they've managed to fuck it way beyond my lowest expectations.

Lads in their 20s and early 30s have a quiet pint/juice/whatever together and unfortunately pick up a deadly virus. They're nae premiership superstars who need their every single move scrutinised to within an inch. Just a case of wrong place, wrong time. I expect it'll be the same for a lot of folk. I went for a round of golf at one of the infected golf courses. Had it been a few days later I could have been down with the vid too. If I'd been 20, I'd have had it 48 times by now. Hopefully it'll allow us and other clubs to implement a better set of rules for their players going forward. Live and learn etc.
In normal circumstances, players going out for a meal in a pub after a defeat isn't a big deal. But at this time they're meant to be in a 'Social Bubble' avoiding contact with other people outwith their bubble. So it's safe to say these players have absolutely fucked it.
Despite what the SFA have said, I can't see this game going ahead. You can't call the league in March and then relegate Hearts (lol) on the basis that an outbreak might occur but then carry on playing when you have a confirmed outbreak.
With a bit of luck, McInnes will lose his job over this

As nice as the interface is, it's the wrong shade of red.

I can't call them by their second name, I just can't and it's bad enough that they play in blue but as I'm looking forward to going to my third straight home game on Saturday, having never seen them before, I think Aberdeen's second club deserve a thread of their own. Winning the league in their first year is a great achievement and it's good that some of you lot come along on Saturdays when AFC are playing away.
Brechin will be the next team to leave the Balmoral Stadium with zero points. Cove have never lost a league game at home this season. That's a pretty awesome record for the new kids on the block.
Edit: it's actually better than that. It's 13 wins in 13 home league games. That's phenomenal.
Hardly.
Wealthy club who play at Lego stadium in industrial park buy league title.
Horrible, horrible club. The Highland League is a much better place without them.

McInnes out.
King Jimmy wouldn't have missed out on such a signing. Not to a Highland League team anyway.

Has anything of note happened in the 4 years since I last posted in this thread?

You should seek medical help. You're clearly in desperate need of it.

Can't wait to get stuck at those traffic lights, pictured, with no other cars within a 2 mile radius.
Sounds like you need to raise your excitement threshold.

Amen to that, Rocket. Horrible band, horrible music. I'm sure someone will post the bill Bailey sketch
Date_min. Was that in London? One of my colleagues was daft enough to go too.
Music aside, I find bono a hypocritical bastard.
Hydro.
I can't disagree with anything that's been said.
At least it wasn't Coldplay though.
