  1. Susan Boyle forgetting the words to Mull of Kintyre, thank christ for the pipe band.

I can understand the "God save the Queen" but why red, white and blue from the red arrows surely blue white and blue?

haha my Celtic supporting mate on Facebook bitching about the red white and blue, God save the Queen and then the queen being on the pitch LOL

  2. Been reading up on them online.

They certainly appear to like changing their manager regularly

They are currently on their fifteenth manager since the start of the 21st century  ;D

Like the Groningen tie it could be an evenly matched contest. They have been relegated recently and struggled at the bottom of the league. Don't really watch much Spanish football but they look very similar to ourselves. Think they finished 7th last season. Not saying it will be easy but a very winnable tie if we play to our strengths.

  3. The Fault in Our Stars is a lovely wee film, based on a teenage novel.

Probably not the best film to see if you've recently lost someone as it is a weepy, take your hankies  ;D

HAHA My wife dragged me to this, she had read the book. Not a bad movie, she was crying during it. LOL

  4. Close season is always quiet, but agree this is quieter than normal

All the Weegie boys (TF,FJ,GD, GS, BB etc) seem to be constantly posted missing.

I'd love to have the answers as to how we generate increased traffic on the site, but I simply don't

Anyone with any inspirational thoughts, please feel free to share them

I think facebook and twitter are killing message boards. I have to admit I don't post here as often as I use to as I do most of my ranting on Facebook and twitter.

  5. Get well soon. Depends on the insurance you have, my wife is a teacher and hers is really good, I work in a car dealership and it cost me a fortune for overnight stay  and test a few years ago with my insurance.

Most important thing is you get better though.

  6. Yeah when teams play football against us and leave spaces we are deadly most of the time. Sadly most teams realized this and started to sit in. We need a plan b. I was more pissed at the anti tactics football played by Motherwell park the bus until the final few minutes, in a game they had to win. The ref and assistants were a disgrace though.

  7. whoever ends up in the playoff from the SPL will win easily, sorry to say

yeah Hibs are in freefall, I could see it if they had won a couple recently but still ended up in the play-off but their confidence is shot. If they end up in the play off I think they will go down.

  8. Hopefully they change the fact that to listen to games on your iphone  you need a second subscription to red tv. Pisses me off that when I am out I cant get the game on my phone!!!

The amount of goals I missed in the league cup over the years cause they were scored while I was driving home from work  :finger:

  9. R.I.P!

Never met the man, but going by what you are saying, and someone I know in Edinburgh said he was a friend of their family when they were a kid and said what a great guy he was.

I did not know until recently (think I read it on here) that Fergie wanted him to replace him at the Dons. Someone said on radio Scotland that worked with him that his coaching methods were ahead of the times.

  10.

Its only been going since about 2006

Checking that fountain of accuracy wikipedia is appears McInnes is the first Dons manager to pick up any sort of annual ward.

That makes sense, I was trying to remember if Fergie ever won it, but could not remember him winning it. I remember Dons players in the 80's winning player of the year.

  11. He knew when he came in the squad was getting old and needed rebuilt, but spent the summer chasing Fabregas who he had no chance of signing and Everton Players. I also think although aging the team should still be good enough to challenge for Champions League football. They got beat by West Brom, Swansea, Sunderland ETC. He looked lost and had no plan B.

I heard there was a clause in his contract that he could be fired without Man U having to pay the full remainder of his contract,  if he failed to qualify for the Champions League.
