  1. Labour have lost a huge amount of respect in Scotland the past five years and they could really struggle in May. My mum who had always had a vote Labour to keep the Tories out mantra said yesterday she's going to vote snp this time round and well...... she's really stuck in her ways, I was quite surprised. I would particularly like to see Jim Murphy, Margaret Curran and Douglas Alexander lose their seats as they are Cunts

I am the same I have voted Labor the last few times to try and keep the Tories out. I also will be voting SNP at the next election. Funnily enough just got my forms sent to me today to reregister as an overseas voter.

  2. First sensible thing I've read in months about independence.

There's so many folk wearing t shirts with 'Yes/No' on them, and 'yes/no' labels on their twitter, Facebook etc profiles that decided long ago what they are going to vote and won't give a seconds thought to any evidence from 'the other side'.

That's their prerogative, but as you say it then manifests into these folk telling everyone the 'right' way to vote.

At least in general elections folk were a bit more private about their personal choice instead of hammering folk in the faces with it 24-7.

I don't get a vote, now that I live in London (which is another bugbear of mine for another day) but I've been mostly undecided on what way I'd go if I did. At the moment it seems a choice between aspiration/hoping things work out on one side and fear of change on the other. The lack of proper evidence presented on either side is fairly depressing for such a momentous decision.

One point I hear repeatedly on the news/social media etc is. "It's great just how invigorated the country is at the moment. It's refreshing to see."

Maybe I'm just unlucky, but everywhere I look I see folk arguing black is white with strangers because they don't have he same slogan on their pin badge.

As Tom says, I hope that whoever wins, the result is accepted without any more conspiracy theories and demos.

I am the same, I was undecided how I would vote, if I had a vote, till a few days ago. But with lack of evidence it would be a leap of faith that as a nation we can thrive. I would probably go with my heart and vote yes.

  3. We just didn't have the quality to match the Germans. If they'd been even just slightly more clinical it would have been a cricket score I'm afraid.

Stop being realistic and just agree that we were as good as the word champions. Debbie Downer

  4. Any chance you were flying long haul on BA?

Transformers 4 - Generic by the numbers but passed the time and felt it was better than the first of the new ones (haven't seen the other 2). Still not a patch on the 1986 original

Edge of Tomorrow - Didn't want to see it but was pleasantly surprised and felt it was actually very entertaining.

Went to the movies to see Edge of Tomorrow, really enjoyed it.

  5. Christ min, that was amazing odds.

Have got a free bet on my Paddy Power account, wish i'd used it on that

Unrelated but talking of free bets, anyone see the girl who bet on MK Dons to beat Man United 4-0 with her free bet, she meant to bet 4-0 on Man United and messed up. Think it was like a couple of grand she won.

  6. It is a farce. And as for all the people telling me it is great for Scottish football, yes it's REALLY great that Celtic could now end up with another 20M to widen the gap even more on the rest of the SPFL.

I see Celtic have now wiped the 6-1 from their history as the website states the score from Murrayfield was 3-0 Celtic.  :hammer: :hammer: :hammer:

  7. Would love to laugh my socks off at their result from last night, but have maintained a sense of decorum ahead of our game tonight.

However positive result tonight, and every Jungle Jim I know is getting both barrels

Same here LOL. Did have a laugh at their away support. Was told they were advised not to travel. I replied so your fans won't travel to uncivilized parts, I take it they won't be at Murrayfield then LOL. Sorry to any Edinburgh Reds LOL
