  1. I reckon if we beat Timothy in the cup final McInnes will be away before season's end. We'd get decent compo, and yes  I'd take McLeish as a replacement. If we came calling I don't think he would be able to resist a homecoming.

  2. Not saying that Mulgrew is good or anything. However Mulgrew with 2 broken legs is still better than f@ckin Russell Martin and Grant Hanley.

Has anyone checked if O' Conner has a Scottish granny hidden away somewhere? Second thoughts  don't bother. Strachan is probably checking out Clint Hill's genealogy as we speak...

  3. Given the draw for London, it's going to be tough holding on to the number 1 spot.

Given the draw, which Djokovic would have hand picked if he could ( and could get even easier for Djokovic if as expected Raonic pulls out), I'd say its very nearly impossible for Murray to remain number 1 after London. Even if Murray reaches the final, after his recent heavy schedule and Djokovic's sporadic appearances, Djokovic is bound to be much fresher and likely to come through.

Id still back Murray to regain top spot early next season though.

  4. Whilst I think he was signed with a view to being the midfield bruiser we so badly need, he didnt shine when played there early season and now he is just too dependable at centre back to try in a different position. Who becomes his regular partner is up for debate. Taylor is a bombscare, Reynolds  is powderpuff, Considong is played left back most of the time.

Jack isnt the answer either. Lacks the pace to get up and down the park and like Reynolds is just not physically imposing against  the really big barstewards that Fartz, Caley, even Celtic have.

  5. Who?

    And, why?

    This is who

Why? Well she is topical (over here). And the ultimate goal of any WYOWYN surely has to be achieving the holy grail of getting a clean sweep of no thank yous. To find the ultimate pot boiler. Some poor bint  Frank McAvennie and Buc wouldn't even plunge. And as Gervaise has dived in head first without even a snorkel, it appears my mission has failed.....

  6. Thought Hibs were the CCS?

Don't go to many aways now but the old Dens and Tannadice were good.Eastet Rd and Tyne castle terraces were too open. Needed a huge support to be fun.

Old Hampden pre seats was great.  Parkhead when we had a couple of hundred in the Main stand. Character forming

Inter City Fleet were most definately Hibs. They had a few crews, CCS tended to focus their activities up near Waverley Station and the back streets around Leith Walk and the east end of Princes Street. By far the worst was Hibs Baby Service. Junked up stab happy mentalists.
