Joe Lewis Decline

A specific question.  Not even sure why this came to me earlier.

Where did the Joe Lewis decline begin?

Could it have been with Derek McInnes and Tony Doc. leaving?

I just feel he is too young to have seen his career and reputation rapidly go up in smoke.

The day he was given the captaincy in my opinion

Defence never looked as assured when McKenna left, which affected Lewis confidence IMO,along with deteriorating standard of latter McInnes signings

Exactly this. Looked good with a solid back 4 but got shit when the pressure kicked in and defense was weak. To me he lost confidence and never recovered from that.

Was a huge shame to see such a dramatic loss of form. Definitely more than one contributing factor as others have said. I think the only way he may get any of it back is if he leaves, sadly.
