Looking at the positives, there's a couple of potentially decent away days there in the height of summer.

Arbroath, Cove, Kelty Hearts & Buckie Thistle for me Geoff.

Far better than a trip to Croatia or Cyprus.

When did we last play Stirling Albion? Must be a while ago. Be quite a tight schedule in that early part of the season, we should probably consider rotating the squad a little for that Raith game.

Think we played Stirling in Scottish and league cup in late 90s and not since. 2-0 wins both times.

Ach to be fair to him he wasn't the worst. But him, his brother, David Rowson, they never really rose above "not bad". Good to have around the place though someone once said.

Not a single Saturday game in league cup.

 

Trying to make Peterhead on a Sunday from central belt will be fun as will getting to Stirling from Aberdeen on a Tuesday night.
