Fergie statue

Featured Replies

I wonder what picture/pose they'll use as their inspiration.

The photo they've actually used at the top of the article is good. That might be a hint they're using that one.

The Fergie one at Old Trafford has him with his arms folded & grim faced. It's actually a bit crap. Would hope ours would have him in a happier pose.

I'd love a Fergie statue in my house.

The other Black Eyed Peas can fuck off though.

Fucking statues. I don't think the world needs more statues. What about Chris Anderson, Dick Donald, Teddy Scott, Miller, McLeish, Considine etc?

AFC is more than a series of individuals. Statues are for losers. Like the queen.

Cormack and Simmie announced the statue live on Twitter from the Ullevi and said it would be that image.

There's going to be a number of different statues, presumably they're keeping ECWC83 for the Willie Miller iconic pose:

And this one for Mark McGhee:

Also expect to see Alex McLeish as the Terminator and Gordon Strachan holding a massive glass of milk.
