Arthur albiston was the man united left back at the time, Maurice Malpas too.

Nah Albiston was early eighties... Robertson was still at school when he was getting caps. Malpas superseded him in the mid eighties and would certainly have been the incumbent when Robertson was making a name with us and when he first joined sevco. I'm certain it was McKinlay who was the left back when Robertson threw his strop
