Really nice, although gutting interview.  I'd known a bit about him, but these things get lost among fans hyperbole and hysteria.  Very sad to think what he could have achieved.

 

Funnily enough,a Fergie documentary popped up recently,some of which i watched, and there was Thornley with the Giggs,Sharp,Beckham crowd training in the early days.

    Didnt realise he was so highly rated back then though,sickener for him...

He was a total prick though.

I can barely recall any of his time with us....although to be fair for a few seasons around the millennium I had other things far more important going on in life to really pay much, if any, attention to football.

Yeah, he admits to not being in the best of places when he was with us, he started off so well at the time.
