It is with regret that Aberdeen Football Club announces that George Yule is leaving his current executive role at the Club.Commenting on his decision, Mr Yule said: “I had a prostate cancer scare towards the end of last year which subsequently led to major surgery and, although I’m heading towards full recovery, the absence gave me an opportunity to re-evaluate my priorities and I decided that my own health and family must come first in future.

Your health always comes first.

He'll be a miss down Pittodrie Street.

He was telling me last week about the cancer scare, said all looked good now though.

To be honest he's looked like he's needed a rest for a wee while now.

His wife ( who's a cracker of a quine) told me he gets texts from folk moaning about the pies etc. ?

Enjoy a well earned rest min.

That he will. Think most would agree he has been good for the club.

Does anyone have a mobile number that I can use for pie complaints? My recent contact just left.
