Pornstar death

Recommended Posts

Genuine question, would it have been okay if she was ugly? By that, I mean, would it have made the news?

It doesn't matter what she looked like.

It doesn't matter if she's a porn star or not.

It matters she was only 23 and that fuckwits get away with this online bullying to the extent that someone feels they should take their life.

Making headline news is a good thing to make people hopefully think about what they're doing and their consequences.

How the fuck can you bully someone online?

Absolute nonsense.

Ooh Ooh, someone's typing bad words about me.

Get a fuckin grip.

A lot of the younger generation now rely on social media for self gratification or validation so whether it is online or physical, bullying is still bullying. I personally wouldn’t let it get to me as I’d just remove myself but I’m guessing a lot of her work was online based so they could get at her from multiple avenues. I suppose what’s more shocking is that it didn’t take very long after the event.

Pathetic that some folk even exist to send such messages.

The same thing happens with Kenny McLean after he reads your posts about him DD., that's why he is leaving.  ;)

The lass got bullied because she wouldn't have sex with a gay man/porn star. Don't see what the issue was with her saying so, seems fair enough she should chose who to have sex with regardless of her line of work, but we live in strange times where honest opinions aren't welcome.

I don't think a lot of us folk on here get mainstream social media and how much it impacts the lives of younger people.

I'm glad we only had tin cans and string when I was a lad.

Tate and Lyle have a lot to answer for.

I'm not commenting on an individual incident because I have absolutely no idea who or what is involved.

Any loss of life, especially in the young, it tragic.

They are however a complete load of wimps who need a good dose of reality.

And to counteract you wimp argument:

There are a lot of bitter, sick and bored fuckers who need to realise enough is enough.

We have a friend who's beautiful daughter has been subjected to this shit.

Imagine if it were your child.eould you call them wimps?

Online bullying is worse than bullying was in our day. As kids we’d get picked on, names etc and a fight in front of a few people, maybe word got round the school.

In the current generation kids live their lives online, people are more self conscious, fragile, and craving attention. So many live their lives seeking approval, who likes their pics on Facebook, how many people respond etc. it’s awful but very real and very serious. Image is everything and when you get attacked, put down, and humiliated on social media it is, to some, like putting it on tv, in an ad, and advertising to the whole world. Public humiliation in front of millions.

I live and teach in LA. Online bullying is very serious and I see the damage it causes. Way worse than in our day. Our generation doesn’t really give two shits but it’s very different to this generation. Fucked up I know.

Fragile in the sense they need constant approval and reassurance. They post pics online so that they get likes, positive comments and compliments etc. Kids are known to remove their pics pretty quickly if they don’t get instant positivity. But then they get destroyed when the get negativity, insults, or no feedback at all.

Fragile and craving attention?

Self conscious I'll give you , that's part of being young.

But if you're fragile then don't seek attention.

What if you're simply posting a pic of say your graduation to your friends because it was an event and you were proud of what you achiever or how you looked?

And some jealous bitches get together and destroy you.

You werent seeking attentuon in any malicious or patronising manner.

DD your approach to this is extremely insensitive.

You may be a part of the older generation but please try to not think that everyone who posts something on social media deserves abuse.

I know many examples of lovely good people being abused for no reason.

Where did I say anybody deserved abuse?

I would however suggest that if you're proud of your graduation ( or whatever) then fine.

Self satisfaction has its place, if you've worked hard and achieved your goal then you're entitled to feel pleased with yourself.

Better enjoy the moment and get it over with though because life has a way of bringing you back to earth quickly enough, but that's a different argument alltogether.

But, if you decide to plaster your own pictures over the internet , hoping to milk the admiration of others, then you better learn quickly to take the good with the bad.

I'm not a hard, cruel or insensitive man, in fact I'm a bit of a softie really.

Looks like we've created a generation of sensitive introverted wee consumers.

I wonder who benefits most out of that?

There's no point in me trying to be reasonable about this, it's fuckin hilarious.
