LA-Don Posted July 29, 2017 Share Posted July 29, 2017 Two different goals in a sense but both came from crosses from the left side of defense that we didn't even affect or get a touch on the cross despite having a defender there - that's disappointing. For the Siroki goal O'Connor is there but doesn't block/affect the cross the scorer is completely unmarked, poor defending and ball watching and poor tracking back from either Christie, Stewart, or GMS, cannot remember who was right mid at that point. I'd put that down to fitness/not knowing our roles with it being our first competitive game.......both issues I think have been addressed/fixed.The Apollon goal came from poor defending from Considine who allowed the cross - GMS was right with the left back, just didn't get it.
