Best way to get to Hampden if already in Central Glasgow

Ages since I've been to Hampden and usually drove down on the day.  This time we're going down on Friday and will be in central Glasgow - what's the best way to get there?  Train to Mount Florida perhaps, or will they just be too crowded?  Taxi?

I've done the train to Mount Florida the most of the occasions i've been which was fine, possibly taxi once.

Aye and given the relatively small crowd going you'll be fine.  It will be busier getting out but that's always the case.

Cheers guys.  Looks like the train then.  Taxi might be ok to get there, but I suspect you'd be almost back to town by the time you managed to flag one on the way back.

I`ll be getting train up to Glasgow on Friday night too. Not getting in till 9.20 though.  Any particular bar Dandies may be hanginig out in ??    I`ve a hotel in Argyle street.
