Particularly in odd number years when there is no International tournament to take the edge off.  What do y'all do to fill the football shaped hole in your life? 

Formula one is a half cup of methadone every two weeks for me and I do love the darts but it's not the same.  Festivals have become so bloody expensive and they are not as much fun when you don't have the twenty odd folk to go with because now everyone has a family.  As such the summer has become a bit of a barren wasteland of boredom.  hurumpf 

Junior cup final currently on bbc alba. Women's World Cup on bbc 3. Internationals next weekend and then it's only 2.5weeks till the Uefa cup kicks off for Scottish clubs. Not much of a close season

Just me that's glad of the break?

 

I couldn't stomach a World Cup right now what with the FIFA antics and with both my nationalities being shite. So I'm happy to have my Saturdays back for the time being.

Mostly the same for me.  I quite enjoy the break from football, it's time for summer sports to take priority.  Football in the sun is great, but i'm glad it's only ever once in two years.

Speaking of barbecues.. where the fuck is Dave_Min, min? Probably at a barbecue.

I watch MLS. Off to my first live game in years tomorrow, Columbus v LA.

I need a close season , its full on home away for 9 months so need a break,  I  like nae fitba for few weeks .. in saying that roll on Europe I m ready go
