Kowalski
http://www.afc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/News/clubNewsDetail/0,,10284~1230428,00.html Aberdeen has this evening completed the loan signing of Alan Maybury from Leicester City. The 29 year old had previously played for Leeds United and Hearts. He has also won 10 international caps for the Republic of Ireland. Alan has signed on loan until the end of the season. The experienced full back will strengthen the squad after the departure of Michael Hart to Preston on Wednesday. In the past Alan has played at right and left back and has also deputised in midfield. Earlier Aberdeen U19 players Stuart Smith and Neil McVitie joined Scottish Second Division side Peterhead on loan until the end of the season. The Blue Toon are now managed by former Gothenburg great Neale Cooper. Also Michael Paton, who is on loan at Brechin City, has extended his loan period until the end of the season. RedWeb will keep you updated as to whether there are any other players arriving or leaving Pittodrie this evening.

Mackie's ace!
Like Dan Smith leaving. About as exciting as it will get I think.
Kowalski
Thought he was a free agent, but we've signed him on loan!?
BobbyBiscuit
Good move I reckon. Hated him when he was at Hearts but he's a good player with a bit of a nasty streak. Something we've been missing for a long time.
Millers Tache
In the past Alan has played at right and left back and has also deputised in midfield. There's a thing, eh. Still, at least he's a full back.
mizer
Thought he was a free agent, but we've signed him on loan!? Leicester defender Alan Maybury is back training with his former club Hearts. The Republic of Ireland international has fallen out of favour at The Walkers Stadium and asked if he could train with the Tynecastle club. Hearts' caretaker manager, Stephen Frail said the club would take the opportunity to assess Maybury, but have no immediate plans to make an offer. Maybury joined Leicester from Hearts in 2005, but has only made three appearances for the Foxes this season. looks like a fall out, oh well happy with that! Looks like he's definitely a temporary signing then.
Penfold
Thought he was a free agent, but we've signed him on loan!? Think he was "allowed to move" but hasn't been able to get free from his contract yet. We might get him in the summer for free if he plays well. Good signing imo. Looks like he's definitely a temporary signing then. I see it's a one year deal - if he's any good for us, might be able to wangle a year long loan and Boro can then make a call after that, having seen him play a season at a higher level than reserves. Maybe.
Guest BTR
Good move I reckon. Hated him when he was at Hearts but he's a good player with a bit of a nasty streak. Something we've been missing for a long time. Spot on. I'm happy enough with this signing. Good full-back who likes to get forward. Whether he plays on the right or left remains to be seen but just happy to see we have another option there.
stonefish100
Good signing, the boy was nails at Hearts, didnt let much past him. Certainly a better option at RB than Macnamara or Night Mair.
minijc
Great signing just a pity it has taken us a few good years to finally get a good strong fullback for the left side, much better option than Hammell in my opion as he is more experienced and a really solid defender. Guest Caroline B
At last a positive signing. Should go straight into the team as a direct replacement for Hart. Strong hard player. Just what we need at the back.
Mentorred
Will probably need a few reserve and sub appearances to get his match fitness back, he has hardly played for Leicester recently. Good sihning though,
BigAl
Appreciate he wasn't on the park for too long today, but whats the verdict of those that were there today
minijc
Appreciate he wasn't on the park for too long today, but whats the verdict of those that were there today He looked alright when he came on, couple of dodgy moments though where he left his man with too much space and wasna tight enough on him, but other than that he played alright and looked comfortable.
