Anyone use the AFC text update service?

I subscribed (I think) through the AFC website years ago, and pay £11.99 quarterly.

I got the usual goal and HT/FT updates thought the Sociadad game, but got nothing at all on Sunday.

Then there was a refund in my bank today from Perform media for £11.99

Has the service been discontinued?

Anyone else use this service?

Not me, would make sense as you can get that updates for free on most smart phones now.

Ha! Just found out that only myself and one other person were still subscribed! So the service has been cancelled.

If you pay me quarterly i'll happily text you the Dons score.

1-0 HT

2-0 FT

btw.

it was one of those things I just always had, and never bothered cancelling.

tbh the goal updates weren't even the most useful thing about it. cup draws, TV schedules and signings were the handiest.

If the other person is out there, fancy meeting up once a quarter and going to Nandos with the £11.99 we're saving?
