Might be inclined to give Nicky Low a start and rest Pee Paw as don't want Pawlett injuring himself on articifical pitch.

Was also limping for a short spell after slipping trying to be a bit clever.

 

1st goal - Close range shot from shaughnessy after long throw in wasnt dealt with

2nd goal - very decent IMO. Deep cross to back post, headed back to the penalty spot and smith half volleyed the shot into the ground and past the keeper.

 

Hayes missed a one on one with the keeper before we scored and Langfield had a great save when we were caught on the counter attack.

Is it too much to hope that game against Alloa was the catharsis AFC needed? A game against lower league opposition where we played shite again, but we actually won through and didn't bottle it!

Brilliant performance from Dons especially once we got rid of that clown Zola. Low and Smith were excellent with Vernon also outstanding. Looked so much better with a striker who has a first touch and knows where the goal is.
