ABERDEEN FC striker Niall McGinn has been targeted by sectarian abuse on social networking site Twitter.

 

The football ace was subjected to a vile post on the website.

 

A Twitter user going by the name of @NickyHughes1 attacked the Aberdeen FC star in a post.

 

Not good, anybody witness this?

I sometimes wonder why players even go on twitter. yes it is fun for the majority of us to be able to interact with players through social media, someone always has to spoil it.

McGinn IMHO is a class guy. He has replied to me on numerous occasions. but Twitter has a block and a report function for stuff like that.
