SCOTT Vernon remains confident he will bring his share of goals to the table for Aberdeen FC before the season is out.
The 28-year-old striker admitted to be more “annoyed” than frustrated to have found the net just once in the 14 SPL matches Aberdeen FC have played so far.
That solitary strike came in the dying seconds of last month’s 3-1 victory over Kilmarnock at Rugby Park. It’s a disappointing return from Vernon, who was the club’s top league scorer in his first two seasons at Pittodrie.
