Five of Aberdeen's walking wounded have passed themselves fit for tonight's League Cup quarter-final against Caley Thistle.

Dons manager Jimmy Calderwood expected to go into the tie without eight first-team players.

Instead only Darren Mackie, Steve Lovell and Derek Soutar will be sidelined.

On Monday it was feared Lee Mair, Andrew Considine, Jamie Smith, Richard Foster and Chris Clark would also miss out, but they have completed late and unexpected recoveries.

Oh for fucks sake, just let them sit out so they're at full fitness for Dundee Utd and Lokomotiv Moscow.

And give Maguire and Aluko a chance as he himself was saying yesterday, calm down slim, that would just be sensible!  ::)
