Former Aberdeen FC youth player Ian Gillan is team manager of leading Aussie side Perth Glory, of whom Ferguson is now first team coach. But the Aberdonian, who works alongside Ferguson Down Under, reckons the former Ibrox hero has what it takes to become the next manager of Aberdeen FC.
