Getting audio from BBC iplayer

Does anyone know how to record something from BBC iplayer and have it as a mp3 or some sort of file?

I don't have any old school recording equipment any more.

 

This is so I can report it to the relevant authorities of course.

    could ye nae just put a lead from yer headphone socket to yer microphone jack?

     

    I thought about that but I am at work at the moment but will try it out later on.

     

    Just thought a fancy bit of software might do it with good quality. you might just end up with horrible feedback doing that.

    No. You know what it is. I genuinely wanted to know if there was a way to rip it. Now I know it will be a podcast I don't need to know.
