MANAGER Craig Brown is delighted Aberdeen FC are set to receive a minimum £22,750 cash bonus for showing faith in five of their younger squad members.

 

The SFA introduced an incentive scheme in July to reward SPL clubs who field two or more Scottish Under-21 players in their starting line-ups.

 

Clubs who field two players in that category, in any league or cup match, get a payment of £750. If three or more young Scots are included the bonus rises to £1,000.
