P&J: Paton adds to strain game for Aberdeen

Michael Paton has become the latest Aberdeen player to be hit by the hamstring jinx but midfielder Stephen Hughes’s injury is not as bad as first feared.

 

Attacker Paton, who suffered the injury in training, joins fellow sufferers Hughes, Chris Clark, Isaac Osbourne and Peter Pawlett on the sidelines.

 

There was some good news for manager Craig Brown yesterday when a scan revealed Hughes’s injury is not a serious one.
